Shepard: Anyway, if there is nothing better to do, we can
always test your reach and my flexibility.

Shepard: It’s been 2 years and we’re both stressed out. So,
why not try it?
Kaidan: I’m right in front of you!

to save the galaxy here?

I mentioned the hybrid thing purely as curiosity. I'm not necessarily saying Shepard should have kids. I'm just thinking that this far in the future humans are bound to go out of their species for relationships, and I don't just mean Asari.

I think this is mostly because I'm pretty anal and want to see all the possibilities of human/blank mixes if possible. I'm not pinning it solely on Shepard.

I would like to think that if my Shepard ever wanted kids she would adopt a Krogan because they're just so darn cute.


As far as weird hybrids, they've managed to have a cross between a rabbit and cat. It was called a cabbit and died shortly after birth because cats are absolute carnivors and rabbits are herbivores.

The other LI is the one who will probably push harder. I didn't even think that kind of reaction was possible for Kaidan (watching the youtube video of his Horizon appearance surprised me; I had no idea he was capable of more than two emotions! Cookies for Kaidan!!!) but he's apparently angry now.  So it seems like he'll be the more emotionally aggressive of the two, he's been through a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, but in the end they'll probably both have some form of "it's your decision" dialogue if a choice has to be made.

(Don't get me wrong: I'd LURVE for Garrus to get a little possessive of Shepard, stake a little claim.  'Bout time he has a little happiness and I'd love to seem him try to fight for it instead of just letting it slip by.)

Whenever I talk about how annoyingly passive Kaidan is with my friend, we joke about how if he found out about Shep cheating on him he'd be all, 'Well, if that's what you want Shepard, I wouldn't stand in your way! I respect you too much to, y'know, fight for you or something. As long as you're happy!' ::snort::

But with the strangeness at Horizon, that might change. It's just a lose-lose for me though. If he just let it happen I'd think he was a pushover, if he got upset or tried to fight for Shep I'd think he was annoying and standing in the way of her happiness. xD;;

I too secretly want to see a jealous Garrus, I just don't think it'll happen.

@Prolefeed, RE: Turian Relationships - What you said makes perfect sense, and I totally see that as being the case now. It goes with my thought that turians just aren't open with their feelings, whatever those feelings may be. It doesn't mean they don't have them, they just think with their heads before their hearts. Plus, in a kind of weird way, isn't it romantic to think about teaching the space man how to love? Or maybe I'm just getting that feeling because I'm watching Disney's Tarzan right now. ::clears throat awkwardly::

I remember when I heard it I asked, but I was told it was a laboratory thing not natural. Nice to know the correct info though.

Still out of curiosity I would like to see hybrids. Highly unlikely in the real universe to find an alien species compatible with us, but eh. I'm sure in this huge galaxy there might be similar aliens. Of course I'm thinking in the Farscape/Star Trek mentality.

Yeah, that was horrible. I just mentioned ME3 simply because I'm not sure if it has become love in ME2 yet, but I think it would be much more clear in ME3 while you're in an established relationship with him.

Every time there is talk of ME3 and the Shep/Garrus relationship status I have anxiety over the thought of Garrus "dumping" her at the beginning of the game. Something like, "Oh, Kaidan's coming back. There might be unresolved feelings there." regardless of whether you romanced Kaidan in ME1 or not. Obviously it would just be a set up so that you can woo him all over again. Still...just once, my Shep would like to be the one that is pursued and not that one that does the pursuing.

Buuuuut...Shepard is insanely hot so I suppose I can understand that approaching her is intimidating.
