That's one of the most remarkable things about Garrus.

Garrus has been through thorian attacks, geth assaults, betrayals, his best friend (at the time) dying. His face getting burned and disfigured. Garrus is an extremely resilient personality. He can take all of this and deal with the fact the very fate of the galaxy is at stake, and take it all in stride. Hell, Garrus can even cope (barely) with you shattering his heart if you dump him.. And we all know at that point he just wants something to go right for him.

And somehow.. somehow garrus still manages to make some pretty hilarious lines. Mordins loyalty mission and samaras recruitment missions come to mind! 

I don't see how anyone can dislike Garrus at this point. Even if you aren't in love with him like I am, you should at least respect and apprecite a turian that's been though so so soooooo much with you and can still crack a smile and offer support for you, even while shunning his own burdens. 

This is definitely why I love Garrus. He's BFF with my Shep. If Tuchanka wasn't such a ****hole, I'd suggest he, Wrex and I be neighbors there so we could all BBQ and drink post-campaign.

Garrus looks like he's too sexy for his combat armor.

For some reason I really like how his talons look, it's just... yeah, I don't know, I just really like how they came out. Nice one.

That would be fun! Some sort of expansion pack like DA:O Awakening with you playing Garrus and your small squad (Salarian explosives expert, Batarian tech expert, Sidonis, and someone else), about a 3-5 squad with the rest as NPCs. Going around.... assassinating and interrupting mercenary operations on Omega, then the final mission where you have to race back to the hideout when you've been betrayed with Eclipse/Blood Pack/Blue Suns getting in your way...

Man, that would be badass.

That would be made of awesome if they included a little mini-game during the end credits where you snipe at Shepard from across the bridge to "hurry him/her along".

1.(If you cheat) The first LI confronts you as well as the second, but you're not given a choice on who to pick. Either they both leave you or you're stuck with the one you like the least.

Can't see Garrus caring too much about outside prejudice. He does consider himself a bad Turian, after all.

So I just watched the "Rejecting Jacob" scene on YouTube and jeezus cripes, they give you not one but THREE chances to sleep with him after you initiate the rejection.  Why not for Garrus?  You even get more dialogue (and an "I love you") from Jacob if you play hard to get initially, but Garrus just gets a boot to the ass?    Now I have to look up Thane's rejection scene to compare...

Edit: Just watched Thane getting rejected, and it only allowed the one-time option of "Sex/No Sex" like Garrus's.  Unlike Garrus's scene, however, it wasn't like a break-up.  In fact, both Jacob and Thane's sexy-time rejection's were more of a "I'll tap that later"-scenario than anything else.  Only Garrus gets the ultimate relationship pink slip.    Why, Bioware, why??  Now I have to further research and see if the same can be said for Tali's rejection!  For science!

It makes me sad to think they're pushing any of the relationships towards being the canon choice, but I kinda got that vibe for Liara in ME1 and that ended up going nowhere in ME2...

It does make me a little concerned with how they might shape the Garrus romance in ME3..I just have to have faith they'll put all the LIs on an even playing field. They've given us the (relative) freedom to choose which path we want to go down thusfar, it'd just be such a bummer to have that last choice made for us.

I was trying to look up the Tali rejection scene for this reason - because what they do to Garrus is pretty much intertwined with the fate of Tali (unless Bioware turn into complete ****s and give the boys their LI and not the ladies) - but it appears that no one has been mean enough to reject her & post it.  I'm assuming that since Tali & Garrus are the ME1 carry overs that their rejections should be similar in nature (i.e. "Let's just be friends").  If they're not we may have cause for concern.

Edit: Okay, so they don't censor "ass" but they censor "ass+hats"?

I'll say this, though, it does seem like Garrus is the only scene (male or female) with a paragon interrupt. It could have been a much more meaningful paragon interrupt IMO, but...it's something!

Anyone have a link to Jacob's rejection scene? It's the only one I can't track down on youtube (I think I just fail at searching). But anyway...of the three choices for FemShep, I still maintain that Garrus has the most meaningful relationship. With him, it's all or nothing, ladies (and gents ). 
I like to think of the Garrus romance the same way the Vanguard class is described.

High risk. High reward.
