I have an even funnier question what would you ladies do if Garrus had to sleep with someone else on the ship to save his life...I kid, I kid, Bioware would never do something that farfetched...

I'd just make him sleep with Ashley - its impossible for anyone to fall in love with her.

This thread is awesome!!
I loved seeing Garrus back in the second ME installment and the romance scene was actually really sweet. Thank god Bioware didn't attempt to show us what turian/human love looks like...LOL! I was wondering how they'd handle that as I built up to it...
As soon as I saw the form of 'Archangel' and the fact he was wearing a helmet, I KNEW it was Garrus and did the little jumpy "Garrus! It's you!" dialogue XD
I'm really loving this game... on my fourth playthrough... obviously can't get enough of it XD
Why are so many people affraid to see what Turian/Human love would look like? I mean come on.. I think Turians look beautiful under the armor (from the concepts). I find it hard to believe so many people are too shy/scared to see him doing anything sexual..

Question; do you think the Flux tunes were just another awkward misstep, or could that really, honestly be Garrus' choice for sexy music? ::snerk::
That's probably what he thought a human would be into....
He should have watched the vids!

I don't think it's that we're afraid or anything, we're just not holding our breath that Bioware will give us anything more..."substantial" for us to see.Von Verrikan wrote...

For me, I don't really care either way about seeing a more passion-fueled encounter. Part of me thinks it would be horridly uncomfortable (need I remind you, metal plates), while part of me would probably enjoy it regardless, since.. Well, Garrus is awesome at everything.Von Verrikan wrote...

I think for the most part, I would fear a more sexual cutscene would cheapen the relationship. It's beautiful as it is now, and I'd hate for it just to be seen as some sort of... alien fetish.

Given his attitude, I see him as something of a rather patient lover. Someone who takes his sweet time "exploring" and what not. Though I'm sure he doesn't lack for umm...strength and...

At least he's not tossing himself on you like Ash/Kaiden from ME1, right?!

Do you know how impossible it is to talk to Kaiden without romancing him though?! I'm not sure it IS possible. I basically have to be a complete ass to get rid of him, otherwise he starts getting all cheesy, "Do you talk to all of your officers like this?" prompt and I'm like...yeah...only the dialog I get is "Of course, but I don't enjoy talking to all of them" in this very suggestive tone. ARGHHH!
Why don't I get the option...let's just be friends? I haven't found it yet if there is one.
It's possible to kill the romance when he first talks about "Brain Camp". Just wait until he says something along the lines of 'I'm sure you didn't come over here to hear about my past' (I don't remember the exact line) then pick the renegade dialogue choice. You'll say something like 'I'd given up waiting for the good part' and the romance will be killed. It may be possible to re-start it after that, but I've never managed it. So all of you not wanting to romance Kaidan, but not wanting to Virmire him either, there is a solution.
(I love how "Virmire" is a verb now

I always think of turians as having harder skin too, but the Codex mentions several times that their reflective skin doesn't give them any extra protection against anything other than low-level radiation. Hell, Anderson headbutts one and doesn't seem to have a problem (however, Anderson is a badass; this may throw off calculations), and Shep bare-handedly beats the crap out of that one guy in Afterlife on Samara's loyalty mission, so they can't be that hard. I mean, stiff. Er, I mean...you know what I mean.Aris Ravenstar wrote...

..."equipment" Garrus has. Trust me, plenty of the ladies here would love to see him give it to FemShepard (or ManShep in my case:innocent:) but we're feeling lucky we got what we did.
We're both gay for him, remember
And I know we're lucky

It's just so...snug fitting. Which is awesome during that romance scene when the camera gets this close up shot of Shepard's bootay and it's all BA-DOW! Hell yeah, her waist looks "supportive" in that outfit.
Then again, as hot as Shepard looks in that outfit, It does seem to be the one casual outfit that requires the most amount of clothing. Gloves, boots, leggings, jacket...

@RiouHotaru: ::ahem:: I don't think that scout had any complaints. I imagine he would have to, er, change tactics a bit regardless, given the, uh, drastic change in.. terrain. At least, until he got used to his surroundings and formed a new.. um.. strategy?
So wait, this is the -tame- board?
EDIT: Okay, that came out even -dirtier- than I meant it to now that I re-read it. Skirting around the subject apparently results in very.. unfortunate analogies. D8

Because the occupations in space life aren't as conducive to traditional family structures, it's difficult to say anything at all about the culture of Turians and many other races where we've yet to play a part on a significant colony or home planet. That's something I really liked about getting to visit the Migrant Fleet and Tuchanka in ME2 and hope to see more of in ME3 or other ME media.
I also wish we got to see any alien children and families, though given the context of the game it's rarely appropriate. It's also challenging to pull off well and doesn't seem extremely important to most story and plot developments in space opera. Here's to hoping we get to visit a significant Turian colony or the homeworld at least in ME3!
