Oooohhh... that's a very interesting connection I hadn't thought of yet, if we do get to see a Kaidan/Garrus showdown. It'll be the second time that a Turian has caused Kaidan to lose the girl/woman he loves.

Well technically, Kaidan was the one who dumped her in the first place, that one half-assed email not withstanding, so he really only has himself to blame in the end. That's what you get for not trusting the person you claim to love and then trying to make amends with an email of all things.
Still will have to keep an eye out for him though. Hopefully Chakwas will have a sedative at the ready just incase a showdown really does happen. Wouldn't want to have to be forced to smash Kaidan's skull in simply to defend Garrus after all...

I'm worried Liara is going to come back super powerful in ME3 and kill Garrus. I mean, we saw how ruthless she was in ME2. That's why I'm replaying ME1 just in case.

I don't think a showdown like the above scenarios will occur, or at least be that bad. Kaidan seems pretty mellow most of the time and I guess he might guilt-trip Shep at the most. Liara's not bad, so I doubt she'd be all "gonna tear your head off." She'll probably be hurt and upset.

Oh oh my god how I hate guilt-trips, that drives me nuuts. Omg I am hoping there for some epic red interruption if he starts with that... guilt-trips brrrr...No only that he is whiney but if he starts with that omg he will totally fall in my eyes, t-o-t-a-l-l-y...

edit: Hahah but what if he won't believe to Shepard that she is with Garrus ^^?
Anyway I have some feeling that Tim will be envolved aswell, to turn Kaiden against Shepard..woah imagine that..He shows him pictures and videos from Garrus and FemShhep conversations in ship and final romantic scene...ok on final romantic scene he would probably roll on the floor of laughing hehe

I agree with Eradyn. Kaidan and Liara are quite mature (despite how they may have acted when you ran into them in ME2). I do not forsee any violent rage coming from them once they find out Shepard moved on...so long as she is happy, anyway. If anything, I would imagine them being passive aggressive whenever they had an interaction with Garrus.

Just think...Joker is taking you guys to your next destination and entering a mass relay while Kaidan is inexplicably once again in the co-pilot (is that what it is? I will never know) seat. Shepard is watching while leaning against Joker's chair, Garrus standing somewhere behind her.

Joker: You know, Commander, you don't have to be up here every time we jump through a relay.
Shepard: What can I say, I enjoy the view. Don't you, Garrus?
Garrus: Definitely.

Knowing that Garrus wasn't referring to the intergalactic view, Kaidan turns around and gives a glare to Garrus. Garrus coughs.

Shepard: I'm going to sneak in a shower before we reach the Citadel.
Joker: Alright, whatever.
Garrus: I'm...going to go...calibrate.

Both Garrus and Shepard leave.

Kaidan: ...I hate that guy.
Joker: I feel like this has happened before...

I guess I'm going to miss out on the whole showdown, if there is one. I romanced Kaiden once, but never again. He'll probably get Virmired like he did the last time, though I successfully nipped in the bud his advances in my current play through. The whole "loyal to your LI" thing, while ridiculous under the circumstances (tantrum following miraculous escape from the Collectors/whatever you want to call it), isn't something I'm going to touch. I'm not interested in Kaiden in any capacity so he can just go...jump off a cliff or something.



I wish I could leave both of them on Virmire...
