Most of yesterday there was a bucket-load of people logged in, too. X)

I made a couple of stamps, but the text appears blurry. Is it like that, or is it my screen? (got a new laptop computer yesterday).



I'd love to join a chat, but I don't know how facebook works. Besides, I don't have much experience in chatrooms. I don't think I could keep up the conversation... Though I wouldn't mind trying...

The Legion stamp came out clearly enough although the Garrus text is blurry.  Whatever settings you used for Legion's, I'd recommend trying with the Garrus one and seeing if that makes a difference.

It's not too bad in the G-Chat.  You can text, talk, or both.  Biggest thing is if you can handle mature conversation (and by "mature" I mean: not always safe for forums and young/sensitive ears and eyes). XD There's a reason this thread is the "tame zone." But it's all in good fun. ^^

Daw. My darn school router and it's hatred of... well, random things really. If there was another Garrus chat anywhere I would totally get in on some of that action.

Same issue here - Vivox is not working, but I don't think it's my connection.  I tried a re-install, too.

Strange. They are both the same font, and I think size too, only Garrus' is slightly transparent. It's probably the font, I downloaded it ages ago. If I remember correctly, it was recommended to me for signature bars. I'll try find a different one.

I finally got the program running. It's non-functional on Firefox 3.6 for Macs unless the install process is just glitchy. But upgrading was the root cause. So I downgraded to 3.5.7 and it works fine

Yes, Pallin is relaxing on a beach on Palaven. *nods* Sipping a drink with a little umbrella thingy in it.

Also...finally finished updating the fanfic and fanart threads...more new Garrus things to enjoy. ^^

thanks for your due diligence on the updates to these threads.

Could I make a request? For the fanfics, you nicely post that its been last upated for the incomplete ones, but could you also do that for the completed ones? After a while, Im not sure which one I've read.

G-Chat link is on the OP. It's working for me, so I'm not sure what's going on. T-T If it's taking you to a general list, please note that "Tierney's Channel" is the G-Chat channel. you might have to select "Tierney" from a list or whatever and then enter it that way. =/



@DeeLite808: The reason I don't post "last updated" for completed fics is because they're "timeless" at that point and there won't be anymore updating for them. For the incomplete fics I post their "last updated" date because they're still works-in-progress and I know people would like to know which ones are more actively updated.

Thanks Eradyn; i ask because sometimes the fics are just one chapter and completed, so no updates and the like, and if they are "new" I have a hard time knowing if they are new, yet completed.



Maybe adding in the "new" tags like you do with the fan art for any of the stories that are new to the list?

As a paragon by heart, but with renegade methods where necessary, I think this made sense. I went though both the renegade and paragon dialogue options, where I supported his desire for revenge, and questioned whether this was what he wanted to do. What he said gave me the impression that he sincerely wanted to do this to get a sense of closure. So when I couldn't change his mind, I didn't want to go against his wish. When I already told Garrus we would go through with the assassination, I felt it would be almost like a betrayal if I continued hindering his line of sight, so I allowed him to get a clean shot.

I didn't worry that this episode would change Garrus for the worse, since he clearly told me he was over it after the shot.

Actually, his personal quest led my FemShep to realize that she and Garrus did indeed shared a very similar view of things. Both are working to change the world for the better, and if that means shedding some blood, so be it.

Sidonis still wants to atone for what he did! The problem here is that people are thinking too much about Garrus himself and not the entire situation.
You want to let him take the shot because he told you he needs to do this, but paragon states quite clearly he didn't want to do it - he was just so caught up in his own emotional turmoil that his rage was the only thing he could truly understand. People just want to make Garrus happy instead of hearing out the whole situation and then helping him make the right call for himself.

Sidonis was put in an impossible situation. I completely feel for him, and while I don't like or accept what he did, I understand why he'd do it. Self-preservation is a powerful motivator and one nearly everybody here would also be guilty of in the end. He is a haunted man who is so racked with grief he states maybe you should kill him. Honestly this is not the talk of a guilty man who deserves death for his actions.

I find it shocking that so many people would choose to kill the man after hearing him out. You're not helping Garrus find closure or peace - you're kidding yourselves if you think he'll find peace. By letting him kill the last member of his team, you're no better than Saren is. Unless your whole goal is to go renegade, then fine, but if your goal is to paragon then seriously show some heart.

Besides, Sidonis says he will find some way of making it up to Garrus. Guys this is dev talk for "I am going to sacrifice my life to save yours in ME3" so really, even if you don't agree with saving sidonis, you should at least consider the potential for him helping garrus in a huge way for #3.

Personally, I agree with you. People have their own reasons for sitting back and letting Garrus kill Sidonis, and I completely understand, but for me...I wanted Garrus to have all the information before making his final shot, and I wanted him to make it because he felt it was just (instead of being driven to revenge).  That wasn't Garrus being Garrus, that was Garrus being consumed with anger and the need for revenge.  I didn't know what way he'd ultimately choose, but I'm glad in the end he was able to let go of that rage and need for revenge.

I also agree.  This is a great interpretation of the scenario, where Garrus is only a step away from becoming just like Saren.  It's a question as to whether we allow him to go over the edge or to hold him back and to help him understand the emotional depths this has driven him to.
