Well here's a pic.



The only difference is that this Turian has markings on his head and not on his nose and mouth like Garrus. I'm not saying that they're because of C-Sec. Maybe we might go to Palaven and all Turians might have the same insignia. Who knows?

The difference makes ALL the difference, doesn't it?

I think it was explained that the markings are just that of their colonies. and that darker skinned Turians got white markings. Since Garrus is lighter, a darker color is needed.

Understandable.


ETA: some turian's whole face are covered in markings i believe.

Here, some C-Sec turians from Riot's folders. Even the ones with just mandible markings have decidedly different ones from Garrus, and the markings are completely different in that image you posted; the mandible tattoo is a solid stripe whereas Garrus's has secondary marks.

The color is different on those. It's violet.

Hope so. you figured with all the shopping they do on missions, Shepard would have found a turian armor to get for our squadmate

I wouldn't be surprised Garrus if wanted to keep his armor that way as some sort of survival medal. Though...it was really strange that his alternate appearance post-loyalty mission was the same armor, different colors. Cerberus paint job? How cheap. Your human companions get new leathers while your best Turian buddy doesn't even get new armor.

I actually did expect his alternate armor to be fixed. Actually, I was hoping for a "retro Garrus" ME1 look.



Although I DO like his cyborg implants...because it reminds me of Saren. One of many ways you and your ME2 cast are symbolically tied to villains from ME1. (You have a Geth squadmate, you work for Cerberus, you have an AI, etc. The cybernetic Turian seems less obvious by comparison.)

I hope we get to see more of Nihlus' backstory in ME3. I still can't forgive Saren for killing him. He was in the game for like 5 minutes, and was sufficiently awesome enough for me to never forget about him. Damn you, Saren! Damn yooouuu!

Doubt it, since Nihlus's backstory was already in the books (Revelations, IIRC?). Though, when Samara said she ran into him murdering an innocent civilian and then using human (...asari?) shields to escape, I sure as hell wanted more information about that.

I don't recall anything about Nihlus in either of the books. Saren, definitely, but not Nihlus. If he was in there, then it was just a snippet.

I'd like to run into another spectre, random backstories are the best part of BioWare games.

I haven't read all the pages (too much ^^), but somewhere in the beginning, I saw that some of you don't know (or don't want to find out yourself ) what happens when you reject Garrus in the romance scene. I couldn't find a vid on YouTube, so I figured I had to find out myself. I made some screenshots that I would like to share with you. It's heartbreaking, so you should be glad these are just screenshots and you can't hear the disappointment in his voice. I also made them clickable, so view them at your own risk .

You don't need to hear the disappointment in his voice. You can see it in his face. And he went through all the effort as well. Even to buy wine. It doesn't seem right to turn him away. HE needs that little thing to hold on to. And it looks like in those screen shots the one thing he wanted to hang onto just disappeared.

Yeah, really sad. It's really not just blowing off steam, Garrus really cares for her. And it looks like my Shep is also not feeling too well, looks like she's going to throw up after making that stupid 'just friends' announcement.

Seeing him like that just makes me want to hug him even more.

Yeah, it does seem like FemShep regrets it. I love that he's still all, 'I'll be there when you need me', even though he just got crushed. classic Garrus. Poor guy... ::goes to watch the good ending again::
