Well, driving and dancing. ::snerk::

I actually spent several minutes making Shepard walk around the dance floor in Flux until Garrus was standing close enough to look like they were dancing. xD He kept looking away like she was embarassing him.

ROFL. I kept wishing you could dance -with- your LIs after getting into the romance, but I guess it's for the best, because they probably would've been mortified.

Anyone else hate how they changed femshep's dancing in ME2? I actually liked how she danced in the first game, and the awkward shuffling she does now is terrible. Though under no circumstances should Bioware take this as an indication that I want her to dance like the other women in ME2, they look like they've got ants down their dresses.

Me too... I've never seen a turian dance though. o.o; There was that one turian in Chora's Den who wanted to watch Shepard dance, but maybe it is for the best that he never got to watch her. xD My Shepard liked him - he was the first turian to flirt with her.

@jellobell: I haven't finished ME2 yet, so I haven't seen Shepard's new dance moves. Does it happen somewhere on Illium?

There's an option in the Darkstar Lounge on the Citadel and I think in Afterlife on the bottom(?) level. There's also a dancing turian you can see during one of the loyalty quests, pretty funny.

I think I know why my Shepard lost her dance moves in ME2. Garrus has always been in her party all through 1 and 2, but now that she realizes she has feelings for him, she feels like a NERD when she tries to dance with him around. :P

Maybe next game Garrus will take that giant pole out of his butt and learn to dance with it.

The one that Shepard boots into the wall right? I loved that sequence (why'd it have to be off-camera though).

@Kim Shepard: Like ME1 you can go onto the dance floor and "press A to dance" or something. I've only been able to do it at Afterlife and that one club in Zakera ward.

lol! Now if I try the dancing I'm going to imagine Shepard giving Garrus a wary glance beforehand and thinking, 'Be cool, be cool, be cool...'

You know, maybe at some point Bioware will steal from a certain well-known MMO and give race a unique dance...maybe even have a dance contest at Bio-Con....

Also, having done a bunch of editing for the Miranda thread page 1, I need to say again how completely awesome the OP of this thread is. I'm REALLY tempted to try to use the Garrus STAMP to mail my March rent.

Actually, there's one seriously dancing during Thane's quest when you follow Talib through the club.

That's right, I remember something like that the first time I went through Dark Star... I just didn't try it. xD I'll go back to the Citadel after my next mission.

At least I didn't miss the dancing turian. :D I finished everyone's loyalty missions except Thane, Samara, and Legion.

Garrus dancing with the pole is a funny thought. xD I think my Shepard would like to watch him beat people with it too though.

Why do people like Garrus? I thought he is extremely cruel to Harkin who is NOT directly responsible for his teammates' deaths. He is rude to Tali and apparently does not talk much to you apart (calibration everytime?) from getting you to do his quest. His friendship with you is restricted to "look what you did to Saren and the collectors, I better not ****** you off."

Wow, really? I guess I missed that one. I've always wondered how Turians danced. Image IPB

I brought them to the citadel and he pissed Tali off for some reason.

You do realize that he was just light heartedly teasing her about the elevator conversations from ME1 right? You can't even really blame that on him since it was essentially Bioware's way of poking fun at how everyone hated those elevators with unbridled passion.

Harkin was a jerk, but that wasn't an excuse for Garrus' behavior. The point of that scene is to show how close Garrus is to the edge, letting his anger get the better of him, and how he needs to be pulled back to reality because he's losing himself.

He was teasing Tali good-naturedly, that was supposed to be humor, an easter egg for people who played the first game and had all of those 'life-changing' talks in the elevators. ;)

I love the Tali/Garrus conversation on the Citadel....I wish there was more squad interaction like that in ME2. I don't miss the elevators, but I miss the elevator conversations. The banter was one of the best parts of DAO, and added a lot to the games atmosphere and replayability.

I remember that conversation, it was hilarious. You've got to stop taking things so seriously, he was just teasing her. The mention of the elevator conversations should've clued you in. It was just Bioware poking fun at itself.

That's probably the thing I want the most to come over from DA:O for ME3. Well, that and some actual dialogue with the squad members.

Scary how we said almost the exact same thing. The Garrus fans are developing a hive mind.

I have to remember to bring Tali into the Citadel with Shepard and Garrus next time. :) I haven't gone since I recruited her. And I'll get the chance to visit that turian who said he'll name his firstborn after Shepard.

I think Harkin is afraid of my Shepard now... After Garrus shot him, she said that she wouldn't have shot him in the leg. xD Before that, she told Jacob (I think it was Jacob) that a bullet in the head solves anything. She's a little Renegade, so every loyalty mission except Tali's so far has ended with her encouraging her teammates to go for the kill. o.o;

I support Garrus for ME3. Like, all the way. If there's no Garrus in ME3 I will kill myself. Maybe. Might just cut my wrist a little. But, yeah - he's hilarious, and he's incredibly badass.

Not sure if it's also an option for Jacob, but Shepard says that to Jack when you let her shoot that other ex-subject.

@Benndak: Whoa, that's a bit of a dramatic response. :blink: How about if Garrus isn't in the game, we just don't buy it? ;)

I do agree about him being a hilarious badass. I think Garrus has some of the funniest lines in the entire game. He's got quite a sharp, sarcastic wit. ;)
