So, Shepard buys the upgrades to cut down on the engineers' work, but Garrus spends his whole day working on calibrations. That doesn't seem fair...

I forgot about Tali. xD And she's my male Shepard's romance interest too.

With all this talk of Shepard playing videogames, I just imagined Shepard playing ME2... and getting the "Critical Mission Failure" screen. o.o;

I think Garrus doesn't even -need- to calibrate. I think he enjoys it, needs to be actively doing something all the time. Which just makes him more adorable.

Also, the idea of Shepard playing Mass Effect just made my brain implode.

That's true. He doesn't seem like the type to sit around and not work on anything.

Shepard would probably beat the Collectors with no one left behind, then play the game and fail some of the easier missions. xD She got to read the novels before me though. (I haven't read them yet, but I bought the in-game versions on the Citadel.)
