I really hope they do feature a Palaven or a turian colony during ME3. In ME2 the asari were expanded upon with Illium, seeing the relationships of asari with other races for example, their architecture, but also with Samara regarding a sect of asari warriors. Quarians also got a lot of time too with Tali and the Migrant Fleet but nothing really for the turians. Garrus is Shepard's connection and insight to turian culture and even then it was pretty much non-existent, it would be nice if Bioware could explore the turians some more. I really like the idea of meeting Garrus' dad.

But seeing as how the Reaper fleet is approaching, it would suck if the only way we see a said turian world is if it's in flames. :(

It would just figure if we finally got a turian planet and we saw it get blown up from a distance. Could BW really be that cruel?

Kordras is right, humans are racist!

@Meta Ray Mek: Makes sense if there are going to be more. I didn't immediately think 'more later' because I'm not big on action figures. My initial thought was just, "Whaaaa? That's it?!" ::clears throat::

Honestly though, I'm only interested in Grunt and Tali from that group. Not into ManShep, and aside from his coat I don't much care for Thane from a purely aesthetic stantpoint. Too bad they'll probably never do a FemShep. :(

If my Shep got married (though I don't think she's the wedding type), she'd wear bridal armour. Because who knows when the need to kick ass will arise?

Oh, God, this just makes me think of a scene in The Authority comics where two of the heroes get married. It's a gay relationship involving, literally, the biggest badass in the series' universe. (He's pretty much referred to as that IN the comics, by other characters.) It's actually kind of awesome, cause this uber-masculine, badass, violent guy is generally the one in the typical 'woman' role (worrying over the other guy, fussing over a baby girl they adopt, ect.). But some stupid author and illustrator decided to run with that, and had him show up to his wedding in a white version of his usual costume.

He went from this to this. And as much I love the characters and their relationship, it just felt wrong. Particularly since the guy actually doesn't wear his costume all the time. He's perfectly chill being seen in public without it, so him wearing it just went over and above the innate silliness of the wedding.

I think that the Devs said they would consider Palaven as DLC for ME2 or that it may appear in ME3. I hope they put it as DLC, taking Garrus there would be very interesting plus maybe we could get to meet his father.

Those action figures don't look so good. The only one I'd consider getting are Tali, because she's wearing a mask. If they did a Garrus one I'd be afraid of them horridly messing up his face.

The gunship already did that, xD

I'd rather we go in ME3 rather than DLC, because it would probably be a little bit more thorough as part of an actual game.

Either case would be really cool! I just remembered that even the Krogan got some heavy love in comparison to the Turians. Come on, BW, you need to deliver!

Yeah I agree. I think there wasn't enough Turians to talke to like in ME1. They should give us more Turians. We got to go to a very big Asari planet, the Krogan homeworld, the Migrant fleet but not to a Turian place.

Hey all! I come bringing art.

I rarely draw fanart but holycrap. This game. And this turian. I started up my second playthrough the other day and picked up Garrus right away. It's all his fault. (ilu space batman)

Garrus meets gunship.
Right before my FemShep busts out the grenade launcher and nukes the it to hell and back. That's uh, grape jelly on Garrus' face. Totally not blood. ........For reals.

My little heart sank when he was gurgling for air, so I watched all the romance convos afterward and then everything was aaaaaaaaawwwite.

Turian hug!
The romance was adorably awkward (his “tada!” after he switches on the Flux music? SOLD.) and made me like his character that much more. I was honestly hoping for a bit more than a headbump though. I dunno, a hug at the very least. But it's all right, there's always ME3! Er... Hopefully. Right? RIGHT? :DDDDDD

Amazing stuff. Your FemShep in the picture definately shows a lot more emotion than the Shep in game does when Garrus gets shot.

Those are really good. :D And man, when I heard Garrus gurgling like that...that was one of the worst things I've heard ever...I definitely felt my heart sinking then, because even if they don't show you the extent of the damage, all you need to do is listen to him try to gasp for air. :crying:

And yes, we should have gotten a hug! At least! Bah, I'll try to be content with the headbump...I guess I can just "fill in the blanks" for myself. X3

Very nice, the look of horror on Shepard's face matches my own pretty well at that particular moment. I wish the characters were that expressive in the game. It seems like the most you get is a half-grin from Shepard in a couple spots.

D'aaawwww those are great!

I hope we get a hug at the very least in ME3. It doesn't even seem like it'd be hard to animate.

Welcome, Alfhild_nott! Gorgeous fanart, you did a great job capturing those moments, especially with the last one. I think we're all agreed, we NEED a Garrus hug!

You know, IN MY DAY, you didn't have pre-branded legos! We had to use the power of our IMAGINATION to pretend that the Legos were space aliens!

I thought the head bumping was great. Is that a Turian thing? How come there is no kissing though? Yes he has no lips, that doesn't mean he can't kiss. Well the head bumping was still great though.

Well, I tend to assume that not all species express affection in exactly the same way. Even among human societies, Eskimos and Inuits don't kiss.

Awesome fanart! I d'awwwed at the Turian hug.

While we're on the subject of the headbump...I honestly didn't mind it! I thought it was almost..cute.

I like to imagine that because they can't exactly kiss, they came up with their own little arbitrary display of affection..and thus the Turian Eskimo Head Touch was born. And unlike a kiss, they can actually look into one another's eyes without it being awkward. Take that, traditional couples!

@ComTrav: And they had to walk barefoot on white blocks you pretended were snow, uphill both ways? :D

I think the headbump thing has to be a turian kiss. There's just no way for turians to do a real kiss.

That's an interesting conclusion. Kissing would've been great though. Head bumping was still amazing, I suppose that's the Turian way.
