Garrus' coy headtilt = more attractive to me than Jacob's meticulously rendered abs. :P

He's just so damn sweet and charming and I love him.  Also badass.  Can't forget that.

I believe I remember a news broadcast if you allowed Sidonis to live that says he turned himself into C-Sec for the murders, and they were trying to figure out what to do with him (since Omega is out of their jusrisdiction).

I've never heard that one o_O I don't think it would effect the outcome later though. When a character has an end-line like his you know it'll be important later.. His just seems suspiciously important.

And we all know that Sidonis cant be charged for any crimes. It took place on omega where citadel law is irrelevant. plus he is not guilty of any actual murders.. All he did was give up locations of squadmates. No crime at all on his part technically.

He's the whole package, all right. :D It's been said before here, can't remember by whom, that one of the reasons he's so attractive as a character is that he wasn't written as a love interest, and he didn't lose whatever it is that all LI's tend to be missing when they're written specifically with a romance subplot in mind.  He's more whole.

...And the fact that he's a grade-A badass is helpful, yes.B)

How far back was it someone said Garrus looks like a puppydog?
This really captures that. A puppydog with an eye-scanner, a sniper rifle, and combat armor who can callibrate guns.

This.

@ComTrav: That's even better than a normal puppy dog! XD

Don't forget his reach. I hear that reach is the stuff of LEGENDS. Image IPB

I feel so bad for Jacob sometimes. I liked him. He's not a bad character, and I especially appreciated his honesty. But as a LI he was SO SHALLOW in comparison to Garrus and Thane.

Which is why Jacob and I will always have a bromance, nothing more.

Jacob is totally in the buddy zone for my FemShep too. I think that's the general consensus among most players. Failed miserably at being an LI, poor guy.

On another note: Okay, granted, I have not actually seen the film Zoolander (not a Ben Stiller fan), but I have seen the 'look' he does in it, and, is it just me...

Image IPB

... Or does Garrus totally look like he's doing 'Blue Steel' here?

@ Aris Ravenstar: No, that's Magnum! His other signature really, really, ridiculously good looking stare!

...and I agree with siltsonata. This scene will never be the same for me again, and I mean that in the BEST way possible.

First ever post here (though I'm a constant lurker), and I wanted to shout out a "Thank you!" to all the ladies & gents who were so very vocal on the ME1 forums.  I'm of the opinion that without you our Garrus-love would have continued unrequited in ME2.

p.s. I work midnights and your posts are the only things that keep me awake at times, so thanks for that, too!

Which is clearly how he survived his gunship encounter. Magnum stops projectiles in their tracks.

Garrus Vakarian: So join now, 'cause at the Garrus Vakarian Center For Kids Who Can't Shoot Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too, we teach you that there's more to life than just being really, really, really good looking. Right kids?

XD You have to admit there's some similarities!

I just love that pose, it's probably the only time he manages flirting with FemShep with confidence. But the way he throws out that over-the-shoulder pose just looks.. so funny. Like he's saying, "Yeah, baby, soak it in." xD;

@Tootles: Welcome! I want to echo your sentiments about thanking the old forum fans of Garrus! I wasn't here for that either, I'm sure it was a hoot.

I've seen a lot of comments regarding fixing Garrus's armor, but I happen to like the scarring.  Also, how cute is that phoenix-y symbol?  ...and now I'm picturing Garrus in boxers with little Archangel birds all over them...

CURSES, why can't I draw!?

And I'm all for leaving the scars.  They make him more badass.  But the impracticality of him running around with a gaping whole in his armor bothers me.  Also, I hate his bandage or whatever the white thing is.  It looks too temporary.

Agreed. Keep the facial scars, but upgrade the armor.

The bandage will probably come off once he's fully healed.

^^yes, I would like Garrus's face healed like Shep's was, or at least take the bandage off and show facial scarring

Well, thanks to the people that post in this thread and their discussions of Turian collars a few pages ago...I was inspired to write another comic. It will likely become the first one I draw among the five I have written.
--
Garrus is in his usual spot, performing his usual calabrations. Shepard is leaning against the console, head resting in one of her hands as she stares at her favorite Turian. Clearly, there's something on her mind.

Shepard: Do Turians take showers?

Garrus is taken aback by the question and throws Shepard a quizzical look. He shifts uneasily to his left and right as he inspects himself.

Garrus: Do I smell?
Shepard: No! I was just thinking about your collar. During a shower, wouldn't the water pool around your neck?
Garrus: Oh.

He relaxes and goes back to calibrating.

Garrus: Yeah, it does. I just have to lean forward and let the water pour out.

Shepard bust into laughter and is now clutching to the console to keep her from falling due to weak knees. She slowly composes herself and wipes away a tear.

Shepard: You can't be serious!
Garrus: ...it's true.
Shepard: Well, since I'm such a non-believer...

She moves closer to Garrus in a seductive manner and traces a hand up his arm to his shoulder.

Shepard: Maybe you could come up and...prove it?
Garrus: ...

Garrus tilts his head towards her and then looks back at his work.

Garrus: Can it wait a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations.
--
EDIT: Wow. Forum language filter made me have to change a word to "tilts."

Anyone else wonder why the scars (on his face, that is) are red?  Given that he has blue blood I would think his...er...meat?...would be blue in color, as well.

And maybe I just look at the hole in his armor and think "easier access!".  Of course, I'm the sort of player that goes for looks over practicality.  I'm sure those merc groups won't see me sneaking up on them a mile away in my bright pink gear, noooo.

@Aris - I hope that face-smock gets removed by ME3, too! And perhaps we can see him (at least once!) without the scanner on??
