I really want Shep to take Garrus on some kind of info gathering mission where he has to get a girl interested in him for some reason. Like, a cross between Thane's interview scene and attracting Morinth in Afterlife. But with Garrus flirtin' it up to get what they need. He is a LADYKILLER. Just, you know, not with Shepard.

I wondered that about his scar too. Maybe it was an aesthetic choice, they didn't want it clashing with his facial markings. I like the scanner though. It's part of his 'look'!

I love the scanner (my X-Box avatar even wears one ) but, especially in the romance scene, I would have liked to see both of his eyes.  They do such a good job of making them expressive but during the part where Shep brings her hand to his face the camera is focused on his scanner-side.  I'd like to think it's concealing little turian teardrops, however, hehe.

Well, human scars are white or brown, and we have red blood (red oxygenated blood, at least). A friend of mine claims that turians scar over quickly enough that what you see on Garrus is permanent scarring and not scabs, but he has a distinct tendency to make things up.

 I only remembered that Turians bleed blue after Garrus got hit by the gunship, and I watched the scene for a second time (was too distraught to notice anything but the gasping and gurgling the first time:blink:) and noticed the blue goop on the floor by him.



"Huh. I wonder how that missile managed to melt his armor, that's... implausible. Way to drop the ball, Biowa-OH MY GOD WAIT.  What color do turians bleed again?! Is it blue?! It's blue isn't it?" *frantic wiki check* "OMG Garrus nooooooooooooooooo." Made it so much worse to know he was lying in a puddle of his own blood/flesh. A little to graphic for my fangirly heart. But yeah, thought it was armor at first.  My powers of observation are astounding.

@siltsonata - Haha, if only it were melted armor. He might have been left exposed in (ahem) other areas, as well.  'Cuz my mind always goes there, yes, and since whenever clothing is inexplicably melted/torn off of a female character it's ALWAYS in a sexualized fashion.  <_<

Yeah, it's blue...but there was a little spot that I didn't see, rest looks dark.

I just finished reading the several pages I missed... and that child turian is adorable. Most of my Shepards would definitely help it up immediately if it was stuck on its back. One would stare at it in confusion before realizing that it's actually a turian, and then help it up.



My Shepard would have enjoyed watching Garrus interrogate Harkin. She also let Garrus shoot Harkin, and then she told him that she wouldn't have shot him in the leg. xD For some reason, Garrus later commented in that hover-car thing that he shouldn't have just shot him in the leg, and my Shepard had no "I told you so" dialogue option.



There were no conversation choices that really expressed what my Shepard wanted to say to Kelly when she made that comment about Garrus. It would have been a combination of the "I know what you mean" option with an added mention of shooting her out of the airlock if she tried anything, but she would have said it all with a sweet voice and a smile... xD



Eventually, I will play through each romance interest with a different Shepard, including one where Shepard "cheats" on Ashley for Miranda (although he wouldn't consider it cheating, since they basically broke up on Horizon). There is also one who likes Aria (she's totally his type) and one who has a secret crush on the Illusive Man. I think I've planned out thirteen Shepards. o_o;

Wanted to make my presence known (cuz I'm the center of the universe, dontchano) so that in a couple days when I actually have something constructive and fun to say, people don't all go "Huh, who the heck is THAT?".



THAT is a late-comer to the Garrus fan club - I actually hated him in ME1 as a bit of a whiner but the second he fessed up to being a lousy Turian in ME2, suddenly all was forgiven.

His ME2 photos avatar is also damned good-looking.

I have a tough time getting past my Captain America ManShep and my Queen **** of the Universe FemShep. Though I've planned for StupidShep (getting as many people killed as possible!) and BoringShep (take the middle option always...he's going to have to go a lot.)

Yes, I want to see what Sidonis will do to make it up to Garrus. If it were up to me he'd be dead but Garrus doesn't need anything else to regret in his life. Although I'm more interested in the romance, I want to know what everyone will think.

Actually, if you let Sidonis live, later on, check the galactic news terminals.  One possible announcement will be about a turian named Sidonis who turns himself into C-Sec, confessing to being responsible for the murders of 10 people on Omega.  Executor Chellik goes on to state that while C-Sec can do an investigation, since Omega has no extradition laws, there's not much they can do about it.

Used to do prosthetic and make-up FX for runway, stage, film so I notice this sort of detail work - check some of the HD captures.

The scars are varying colors, but the reddish scars are on Garrus's scales and plates, which are a warmer rather than cooler shade of tan (Turian scale color seems to range from very pale and almost peach to raven'swing black), so it makes sense that the metallic elements in the scales would be discolored and reddish from what I presume was a high-heat attack, plus the red elements of the cybernetics we've seen in RenegadeShep.

Garrus's fleshy scars have a blue quality to them, plus the peach/tan textural differences where there's proudflesh and healing scar tissue.

I was impressed with the work put into both Garrus's and Zaeed's scars, though I can't say I'm a huge Zaeed fan.

I'm curious to see how the Illusive Man would react if Shepard agreed that his plan to draw out a Collector attack, tell her former teammate that she is now with Cerberus, and needlessly put her in danger was brilliant. xD If only the Shepard who likes Aria could make an appearance in that playthrough just to say "Hey, Timmy - Shepard has a crush on you!" right after demanding that the Illusive Man transfer a lot of credits to his account for that "vital piece of information critical to the mission."

Out of all of those Shepards, there will still be some options that none of them choose. o_o; Even my evil Shepard who chooses Morinth over Samara won't kill the rachni queen because a whole army of creatures singing songs about him is both useful and awesome. There also might be two Shepards who romance Garrus and are only slight variations of each other (one with the Spacer background just in case an awkward meet-the-parents situation ever happens). It's obvious that Mass Effect 1 & 2 are my favorite games.

@ ComTrav: Those names for your Shepards are awesome. xD I should try to come up with some for mine to easily distinguish between them.

Damn it, Garrus is TOO awesome. I wanted to go for the Thane romance this time, since I went for Garrus last time. Then I did the Archangel mission again.
