Honestly, the only reason I want a helmet is to cover up some of the hideous character faces where they're constantly in their "angry frown". It doesn't even have to be a helmet, I'll put a bucket on my characters just so I don't have to see those terrible faces. The art for the character cards are fantastic to say the least, but I feel like the actual in game models are nothing like what we see on the cards (not even close).  Here we are in the frostbite engine yet the faces look like something you could make in unity.

Well there is a passive helmet placeholder slot on the character pages on the Inquisition HQ, maybe?

The only time you should be seeing character faces is when you look at them deliberately...

I'm kind of scratching my head as to why armour in games has become the all in one thing we have. Whatever happened to chest pieces, gauntlets and boots? Was surprised by DA:I taking the easy route in this regard. It limits customisation a lot, particularly when there are only a handful of different suits in the whole game.

 

Umm, on topic: I wouldn't hold your breath.
