It would be so nice if there was a console command to spawn infinite resources in my inventory.

 

Yeah, I hate it when games (MMOs especially) want me to be a day laborer gathering fruits and nuts to craft armor out of.

It's perfectly safe. The only danger you will face is if you save the game after you altered a variable that you don't know what does or if you try to use it on multiplayer.

The item duplicating glitch is fairly quick and definitely easy. Not sure if it works on PC(mine crapped out so I'm playing on PS4) but it works on consoles and lets you get as much stuff as you want, except for herbs. I did it to make more dragon-based crafting items and to give myself tons of money. Getting tons of money through a glitch and then buying all of those tomes from that vendor in Skyhold to get your Influence up to like level 30 is oddly satisfying.

In a single-player game, it's not cheating.

 

 

It is still cheating. The only difference is you cheat the game, not other players as you would in MP. In that regard you aren't unfair, but it's still cheating the system. Because that's what the word means.

They would, but until someone finds the commands or bioware tells us if they exist. It's the only choice, plus it gives a further zoomed out tac cam

Pretty sure you're another one of those who wouldn't do flight sims because they're "time sinks"...

Well, guess what. A few years back, I got into virtual reenactment of the Overlord landings, finding a spot in a squadron of fighter bombers.

My first mission was pretty much about flying across the channel from UK to France in pitch black night (solo, because the formation broke up when nobody saw others).

The entirety of action I saw on that entire sortie, that's thirty minutes across the channel, thirty minutes over France and thirty minutes back home, was dropping my payload on an enemy airfield, hoping I hit anywhere within a hundred meters of any kind of good target (I didn't hit anything, by the way...) - oh, and I may have been lucky and found a low flying twin-engine I identified as a Bf-110. Turns out, we had a reported Mosquito casualty in the sector I was in, at the time I was there...

Well, it was so fast the poor sod actually reported a Nachtjagd taking him out, and not a Typhoon. Never saw me coming.

Long story short, for ninety minutes I spent in that virtual cockpit, grasping on my Wingman Attack 3, I had thirty seconds of flak trying to turn me into swiss cheese, and about ten seconds from sighting the aircraft to successfully tearing it apart with precision Hispano fire. (Seriously. Quarter a second burst, the guy was gone. I was whole 'nother sorta pilot back then.)

Would you rather spend ninety minutes doing this, or get off your lazy butt and spend FIVE WHOLE MINUTES farming materials for crafting?

I cheat when the game doesn't entertain me anymore. I have no desire to farm for materials or schematics that would be better as static drops. RNG should be much much more limited than it is in DAI. So in short, most people cheat because they are bored of doing it the "righteous" way.

A console code to give bucketloads of cash would be nice. Never used any others in these games.

I want a console code to bring up the character creation screen again.  I realized too late that my inquisitor's eyes are too far apart.

Yeah, I wish they had the mirror from ME2 here; I messed up my female Qunari's face and only realized it once I saw her animated.

Might look into Cheat Engine if it isn't too technical; prefer something as easy as Nexus Mod Manager vs Mod Organizer. Currently due to ignoring what I was actually crafting earlier, I now spend too much time picking flowers for needed potions.

But for this campaign, I will likely play the remaining time w/o such bonuses.

Not so cumbersome, believe me. Basic things like changing amount of gold, stats etc are POC.

But there is no learn fire and forget possibility also. There are ready tables to download and you don't have to even learn how to use CE. Just download CE, download the table, open it choose the theing you want and you're done. Works like regular trainer but is safer (no viruses, troians ever so popular in standalone trainers)

Try it, seems it has a lot of tweaks.

And if you do it in single player there is nothing dangerous about it. Just don't fire it when you go for MP game.
