Given the explicit nature of a number of romance-scenes, why not go all the way? I believe some even touted the romance-scenes of this game as being more authentic and 'mature' for it.
At any rate, forward, the modding brigade!

Right now there are only a couple of longer hairs and they are so god awful it's depressing. So really, if you can't make a character that looks good with those hairs you are left with short or bald or some version of bald that looks more like a man. Hair is never a strong point in any character creation I've seen to date. The only good hairs I've ever seen and used once I added them were mods. I am not sure why this is so hard for developers to get right if it can be done with mods. Maybe it's related to keeping the game the same across all the consoles and PC and some systems mean it won't look right if they go for different better hair or even armors/clothes, but damn, if they didn't hit the jackpot of ugly on this. I might have to say that DAO and even Oblivion which is pretty much house of ugly for hair and faces still was better hair wise than this. I almost did a bald girl just to rebel but instead have been using the short hair in my avatar since it's the only one that looks reasonably decent to me IMHO.

I hope to see Face mods cause most of the people in this game really need a makeover. I mean Loghain needs 1 badly cause from the cut scenes, it looks like his face is being stretched. And vivienne's face looks like a blowfish.
I said it before. Modders will find a way. That is what they do. Especially if a game ends up fairly popular. They put in more effort to make tools if they have to.
