Fantastic! Why Bioware stop supporting mods..and PC gamers for that matter...is beyond me. They say that Skyrim was a major influence for DA:I? Well, on PC, Skyrim has been transformed and elevated to extraordinary heights thanks to the modding community. This also gives the game longevity far beyond it's prime. All well known facts to those concerned.

 

They may say they didn't have the time or money to create tools for PC mods, but the real truth is they simply aren't interested. Shame really.

 

Still, DA:I is a great game that mods will make even greater.

Me too!  I cannot stand Solas being bald.  I like his banter and having him in party, but the baldness kills it for me and I won't romance him without a hair mod.

I think Solas is going to look ridiculous with hair lol

I don't mind him bald. In fact, I think I like it but that chin, that chin is just so long and pointy. His chin modified just a bit, softened a bit to be less long and more round would be ideal I think. The rest is fine - well a new outfit would be nice. He looks like he is in rags. Horrid rags. I guess they were really going for apostate elf but man, such a raggy looking outfit is horribly unflattering to his waif like body. He really needs an update. Everyone else looks pretty decent in their normal clothing. I'm not even a fan of Jose's look or Cullen's but still, I don't mind them. Solas however, I kept staring at his toes while we were in the snow in haven. I kept thinking 'let me get you some boots and maybe a coat.' Nothing about that worked for me. It literally broke immersion every time I saw his feet or the snow.

It would be cool if they could bring back certain hairstyles from DA:O and DA2. Also, change certain gear for certain characters, like giving Hawke some iconic weapons, like Orsino staff or Finesse.

The same modder that is working on the haircuts tried to give Solas a hairstyle, based from an origian artwork of Bioware below : http://ar-lath-ma-vh...agged/game-mods

The one mod from the art book i really want is to have Morrigan in that snowsuit thing. They did a lot of cool outfit ideas for Morrigan but ultimately stuck with her more well known look from Origins. I kinda wish they gave her a new design i mean Leliana got one. It's like she's been wearing the same clothes for over 10 years XD.

They have done nothing to stop it and even had a toolset for Origins. They just don't officially provide support for it anymore but DA2 has loads of mods as does the Mass Effect series. Games developers find some of their best staff from people making mods so i don't think any company is hugely against it. Maybe people in suits might be but they don't understand it's benefits.

Neat to hear.  I don't know precisely what sort of mods we'll possibly be seeing but is too much to hope for a DA2-style "female protagonist runs like a man" mod after all?
