I've tried googling it first and couldn't find an answer so I'm turning to the forums. What the heck does the green hand (or at least it looks like a green hand) over my main character's face plate signify? Thanks ahead of time for clearing this up! Knowing me, it's probably something obvious and I'm just being retarded, hah.
Green hand over main character's face plate?

It's the mark that you've got
Ohhh, it's supposed to represent the mark on your hand? Gotcha. I was getting paranoid thinking my dude was poisoned or something, lol.

Don't be shocked when the hand turns red when you're low on health

I do greatly miss DAO's amazing, customizable character portraits. ![]()

You mean the one that inevitably looked weird after crossing 1/4 the way through the slider? ![]()
Yeah it was a nice touch I guess.

I for one greatly miss the option of having our PC creepily staring out of frame in their portrait.
Ditto. I loved to make the derpiest expressions for my Warden in Origins. And in 2, I compensated for lack of expression with half off-camera portrait positions. It was fun. Now all we get is a prismatic hand. It doesn't even get all bloody and gross like the other guys' portraits. What a drag.

I wish we could make custom portraits. Everyone else in the party has great artwork representing them, and the Inquisitor gets a green hand. Yuck.

I would love to have an option to replace green hand with portrait of my Trevelyan that I'm able to draw.

I remember I made one dwarf warden where his mustache was really his defining feature, so I zoomed and panned the portrait so all you could see in it was his glorious stache.
It was awesome.

I actually don't like the art at all and want actual character portraits back, including for the Inquisitor. Putting the hand there was just lazy.
