I wish we could. It looks like the inquisitor is running around in pajamas with an odd codpiece.

When you play a Qunari you end up looking down in most convos. That high collar on the jams-jams clips into your face.
I hate it so much.

They seriously put that thing on Qunari? Wow... I guess I need to create a Qunari now just to have a laugh when I see that.

ooooh yeah. I've seen youtube on not-Qunari PCs (i'm still on my 1st play-through). It's the same jam-jams, just Qunari sized.
I don't understand the design choice. It's like a medieval version of a military cadet's jacket. Like, NONE of the PC backgrounds are really military (Mercenary Qunari comes the closest).
It's like they were going for magic-sword Shepard walking around Castle Normandy.

The Inquisitor's civilian outfit is at the top of my personal patch wishlist. I feel constantly underdressed in Skyhold, everywhere but in my private quarters. I don't know why everyone else isn't looking at me strangely.

If you're Qunari you can still wear your facepaint at Skyhold... which seems kind of weird. Why only that?
Vitarr shows up in sequences where helmets are removed, unless you have "Hide helmets" toggled, in which case it is invisible even in Skyhold.
I don't like most of the Vitarr patterns I've seen, so I usually hide helmets. I didn't actually know you were wearing it even in Skyhold until just now.

This game has massive clipping problems in general. Hands clipping into legs or parts of your armor, hair clipping through ears or headwear during cutscenes etc. I can easily forgive a bit of clipping in such games and all of them had it to some extend, but this time around, it's extremely obvious and immersion breaking sometimes. Oversight or lazyness?
I also don't like, how you are forced to wear a default set of weapons on all characters. For example, when I put on civilian clothing on my party members and unequip their weapons for a visit in Val Royeaux. My warrior always ends up with a visible sword and shield, despite having nothing equipped in that slot, after I unequip my two-handed sword. Mages always retain a default staff. That's not very helpful, if you want to take some screenshots without weapons. And what's up with the default "underwear" clothing everyone is wearing? I'm the herald of Andraste and I'd like to roam around Skyhold or make decisions at the wartable in briefs, like I please. ![]()
Ahh, these were the times in DA:O, when Alistair held his epic troop rallying speech before Denerim in underwear, because I stripped him off all his clothes before the cutscene for laughs and giggles.

The pajamas of sadness are inescapable.
For real though I can't bear the sight of my Inquisitor sitting on the throne judging people while wearing those PJs of shame. She should be judged for crimes of fashion.

Omg I am cracking up.
Yeah those PJs... aren't horrible, they're just ridiculous compared with what everyone else is wearing. I have no idea why they didn't implement the option of keeping on your armor, at the very least.

They're most ridiculous on Qunari and Dalish elves. I can't imagine either one choosing to walk around in that. It's a bit immersion breaking.

Its like they made these stupid decisions which they knew were stupid. In mass effect we can change our normandy wear, they should have let us do it here too. In ME we choose our armour colours, here our materials determine what we get?
Why??? Should have materials dictate stats and we choose the colours, IE 1 for metal, cloth and leather part of armour. Please get rid of the shitty PJ's and leave the armour colour choice to me

The PJ textures have been extracted and have been recoloured so far. You can check it out here. The modders are still working on putting the new textures back into the game though.
Wow, the modding credentials of this game have far exceeded my expectations. Look out Skyrim! ![]()
