Hi all, will side buttons on mouse be bindable in future (maybe next
) patch? I think that in this era of gaming there are very little numbers of mouse hardware that dont have side buttons and very few games that dont allow side buttons to bind.
Mouse side buttons?

The STANDARD mouse buttons aren't even bindable, PC version is a console port remember? There's a 180 page discussion on the PC community concerns thread in the news section.

Most mice that have additional buttons will have software you can download (usually from the company website) that will allow you to bind that mouse button to a specific keystroke, or series of keystrokes.
Use that software to bind one of your extra mouse buttons to a letter on the keyboard, then bind that letter to whatever you want it to do.
PRESTO, extra mouse buttons able to be used in game. ![]()

Good idea actually, might have to google, would be great if I can map middle mouse button to auto run for general exploration.

yes you can bind the mouse buttons to mirror keyboard actions, but what if you actually want to keep them as mouse buttons for their use? There should be a way to use em either way in the game...
