I seriously have NO opinion. Watching the trailer made me confused as hell. Is this a reboot? Because if it is, I'm going to be sad :C

It looks like an alternate timeline where a Terminator is sent back in time to warn Sarah Connor before she encounters the Terminator from the first movie (who is killed by Arnold in the trailer). It also looks like the cop Terminator from T2 returns in this alternate timeline and will be the bad guy, or one of them at least.

If it were up to me, I would retcon everything post-T2. Then I would remove the Terminators and replace them with something more interesting and something that makes sense with the way T2 ended. The film wouldn't even be called Terminator. There can be no terminators after T2. That was the whole point, and that's what these idiots in Hollywood keep ignoring. They just can't let go of Arnold or the outdated concept of the terminators.

The franchise needs to move forward in an entirely new and fresh direction, while still acknowledging that T1 and T2 happened. Also, they need to stop with all these one-liners and corny references to earlier films. We don't need constant reminders of how afraid these people are to step out of Cameron's shadow.

Salvation already ruined everything.

Terminator can't be ruined further after that low.

This. Terminator 3 felt like a huge insult; void of taste sacrilege that did everything wrong. It's damage to Cameron's beautiful franchise was beyond any measure.

Somehow, Terminator 4 managed to appear even more plastic, calculated and tasteless. It felt like vanity project of Bale. It was movie about Chris Bale  trying to secure another juicy summer franchise.

I'm not sure I've seen better action-thriller than T1. I'm sure I've never considered a pure action movie to be as perfect as T2. It was incredible franchise, for two movies. T3, T4 nuked it with bullshit missiles and now only nuclear holocaust of **** remains. This...reboot can't possibly do any more damage.

..It looks like this doesn't prevent them from trying their utmost.  Everything about that trailer is bad and wrong. Future looks like Star Trek, not nuclear holocaust. Reese of Biehn looked like wiry animal all about survival. This dude is some gym star off some teen series. When I hear him speak I think of some cheesy late teens drama show. Like OC or Roswell or such.  Sarah Connor isn't the magnificent hard boiled ****** that has gone to hell and back; rather she is  The Strong Woman Cause We Totally Make Strong Women! from every video game ever; slightly irritating gym coach. " Come on let's go hurry yeah today we destroy Skynet, Team!!!!" ****.

Terminator: Days of Future Past?

I would settle for another season of Sarah Connor Chronicles.

This seems like Cameron´s curse, they did something similar to Aliens.

This is a perfect example of mainstream hollywood's inept clownish attempts to re-vitalize the classics...

Pathetic.

This movies whole premise seems like awful fan fiction to me.
