I hated him when he was selected as the new bond. Then I watched Casino Royale and realized he actually played Bond the best since Connery. The movie was almost identical to the original Fleming book. Anyways your missing out on probably the best Bond films since the first couple.

My feelings exactly. Guy's got style. Would have never said it, but he does.

I agree too. He also plays a more rugged and realistic version of bond, one who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty for the job which was quickly made evident to me right from the starting of casino royale.

You mean... The scene where the bad traceur guy leaps like a monkey and floats over the concrete wall with the lightness of a cat, and bond follows... Bursting through the same wall like a tank would do with a piece of paper?
Or when, earlier in the same scene, the bad guy finds a way into a construction site, hides and believes he's out of Bond's reach... Until he bursts in through tons of materials on a goddamn bulldozer?

Haha yeah, it is clear from the very start that you're not watching an old fashioned 007 movie. Which, I believe, is also the strength of these new movies, cause they were refreshing. Mind you, I loved Connery in that role too, but Craig isn't bad either. Different for sure, but not bad.

Nah I don't think the wall was concrete, more like some sort of faux wall or something I guess...Lol yeah there were several such instances where the bad guy pulls off some insane parkour stuff but then bond manages to catch up to him in a clever way .

Yeah it's definitely different from the older ones and while in truth I'd initially expected to hate it, I was pleasantly surprised afterwards!

Roger Moore was the best bond, and the last bond movie I saw was Goldeneye.

I find Daniel Craig almost unwatchable, mumbling mumbling mumbling his way through everything.

GoldenEye was the last really good Bond film.  That Skyfall abomination was doomed from the second Adele started her off-key warbling.

And, for British comedy fans, "STOP GETTING BOND WRONG!!!!!!"

Please raise your hand, if you hated Quantum of Solace. I didn't like Skyfall too much, and I think Casino Royale is okay, but that Quantum of Solace movie is an abomination.
