So I'm on the war table mission to choose a successor and I'm on the second part of the mission. I'm given a choice of two people remaining of the three.  How the hell am I supposed to remember who these people are since there is no way to go back and re-read the initial quest.

In the future, it would be nice if the war table quests left a journal entry somewhere. I sent this mission out days ago (in real life).. .I have no idea what my original intentions were nor who named people are. Makes strategic decisions pointless if you come back several hours later ( as the quests is > 2 hours) and have no recollection.

So  now I just have to pick one.... anyone.... because I have no idea whats going on. In the future I'm sure there will be a wiki offering the back story for review but it is kind of a hole in the game play for the time being.

That'd be nice just because I can't read half of the stuff that's written because the text is too small.  It's a good idea for your problem as well though.  I don't know why some of the missions stay on there well after being done (which are easier to read afterwards like that though), and others don't

Journal enties on how we resolved things in general would be nice.

Wouldn't mind a filter on the war table as well to filter out completed quests/missions.

Yeah, I had a set of missions where you had to winnow out a Venatori spy from among five individuals.  The first two missions brought it down to three suspects and then I had to make a choice of whom to kill.  But in the time between all of that, I had done more quests, gone to bed, and put in a full day of work.  I had no idea what I was supposed to be looking for anymore.

Fortunately, I decided to just pick Leliana since she's Bioware's darling, and got the right choice.  Still, would have been nice to go back and remember what I had done.

I so agree! I thought there was because I remembered seeing the option there  but the option was actually only on the normal map not on the war table map.

Now that is a really good idea. Perhaps you should put it into the feedback forum?

I actually like the war table. My Femquiz is a Trevelyan, so she likes to dabble in politics. But yes, the very long "archs" are too complicated to remember amongst all the other stuff you do. For example there was the one called Alliances, where in the end I could not remember what it actually was all about... Makes it a less enjoyable feature than it could be.

So a journal would be a huge help!
