Hi
The last (and only) time I played DA2, it was quite a dissapointment to me. Now that DA3 is out, I want to force myself to do a second playthrough of DA2, before I dive into DA3 (DA:I) fully. That way I will have refreshed the story in my head, plus I have a secondary character for DA3.
1). Are there any nice mods, that you can recommend, to make the playing experience of DA2 less tedious, boring and painful? What I hated in DA2 was, that lots of areas were reused and you had to run a lot back and forth to do some stupid missions. In DA1 (DA:O) I had "Skip the Face" mod to skip that whole tedious area the second time. Is there anything similar for DA2 that maybe cuts out some of the unnecessary hack'n'slash mindless fights or rather insignificant quests, to focus more on the main story instead?
2). Are side missions worth completing? I want to semi-rush my second playthrough of DA2 and get it over with, but how much will I "lose", if I skip all of the side missions? I don't care about items, gold, xp or combat difficulty - I would play DA2 on Easy, for all I care. I just want to refresh my memory for the most important aspects of the storyline (if there are any?).
3). Without spoiling anything of DA3; Does Hawke's presense has a significant role in DA3? And will his/her apperance be carried over to DA3? If Hawke's choices in DA2 have very little effect in DA3, I don't want to bother trying to remember all of the events, character names, etc. in DA2.
4). I want to play a rather sarcastic and as evil as possible (male) Hawke character in DA2. Are there any particular romances or character that you can recommend for me to make this more fun? For instance, Morrigan and Alistair argued a lot in DA1 - I want some similar conflicts with some interesting chars.
I guess, I realized that this game is rushed and flawed in many ways, so that's why I am asking these questions - not to step into the crap way too much, because not stepping into it at all, would be unavoidable with what I have seen of (and read about) DA2 so far.
Thanks in advance ![]()
