Interacting with a rift is sometimes equally frustrating. I'm directly under it but must move away and face it somewhere up there while everyone dies around me...

Yes!! This annoys me to. Sometimes i click about 20 times under a rift while walking around in order to get it to work.

As far as the loot goes. I personally dont like that the look moves away from where the enemy died. It not only can be annoying but it breaks immersion when you think about it. An enemy dies and it drops its wallet and items 30 feet away...lol. Makes no sense. As far as it being hard to see, ya the outline should have been a darker color, thats a given but i dont know if it was always there and i just never noticed it or if its something they added with a patch but using the search function highlights where the items are on your mini map, making it a hell of alot easier to find things.

They added a function to the search where all things you can interact with show on the minimap, this is a marked improvement to the state of things on my last comment on this thread, but its not intelligent enough, and just shows EVERYTHING in a given area. If I am in a large room and recently killed some enemies and know some of them dropped loot somewhere, and know there is a ladder not too far away the game should recognise after no more than 3 clicks that I DONT need to know where the ladder is. It should understand player behaviour better and realise when no more loot caches are on the ground. Then when having realised that, and you click search again it should understand maybe now you misplaced where that ladder is. [if you did] Another option would be making ladders and other world objects such as veil-fire sources ping with a DIFFERENT colour to loot sources, say its purple, or green or some other colour to that what is loot.
