Is there any way to track what decision you made when finishing quests? I'm an altaholic so I've got like a million games going at once and I realized that on one of the older ones I honestly have no idea whether I conscripted or allied with the templars. I tried going to the completed quest log but it doesn't tell you, I tried talking with companions but all their quest specific dialogue has already been used so they're no use either. Any ideas?

There aren't many decisions in the main story to be honest, you should just keep track on them. You will notice different inhabitants in Skyhold depending of your choices though.

If you make a wholly different choice yes, that much is easy to track either mages will be there or templars will be there. What I'm having trouble with is whether I conscripted them or allied with them.

Another way is to check Solas's room maybe. The paintings in the wall changes after making some major decisions in the game.
I think it's the only other way to know.

For that, i talked with Fiona or whoever is the leader of the templars if you have them. Fiona is near Dorian, she says about being conscripted.

Indirectly: if you have Barris as an agent, one of the pre-conditions, if I'm not mistaken, is having the templars as allies.

Dragon Age Keep is eventually adding a stage for Inquisition, so you should be able to use that as a point of reference.
