So, I finished the game and everything. I thought I did everything for Sera. I mean I got her to love and did the gift quest and didn't get the scene. Then I finished the game, thought it might be in the epilogue part. Nope. Its kinda really stressing me out, since its the only thing that has actually gone wrong.
Can someone help? I have a save before the end mission, in case I need to reload(I assume I would). Or is it not possible at all in this playthrough?
The sex scene is supposed to come at the conclusion of the gift quest (i.e. after you have talked to all other companions and you go back to Sera). Did you get the cookie talk with her?
I havent gone through the whole romance yet, but I just got to where you are suppose to have the first kiss scene and it doesnt pop up. We talk and I invite her to my bedroom, we do the race dialog and then it just loads me out to outside of her room. I dont want to continue if its going to cut out all the other romance scenes. I had her kill the noble, did the cookie talk, went through all the non-romance talks to know more about her personally, she changed my pet name (there are several of them apparently as it changes it every time I reload the save and start the conversation), etc.. I am up to Red Jenny Attends a Party on the Map missions so not sure if it has anything to do with it..

I finished the gift one and it acted like any other time they had sex(meaning it just cut off). and are you talking about the roof scene?

Maybe you got a censored version - those are not unheard of in certain regions. Especially now that they got rid of the awkward underwear.

Just the other day retail outlets KMart and Target took the remake of GTA V off of their shelves, due to supposed violence against women. What a load of bull, soon we're going to live in a country where the only games you'll be able to play is Viva Pinata or whatever it was called.

As an Australian who has already romanced Cassandra, I can confirm, there is no censorship in the Australian version. At least not on mine.. though I got mine through origin.

I think that may be a prerequisite for the scene. There was speculation about it on these boards and also, I think, on the Gamefaqs boards. If you have a previous save, reload and take Viv's advice and see if it makes a difference.

I did, it got an extra dialogue during the scene, and the whole thing played out

I'm having the exact same situation - all I can do when I talk to her now is kiss her, but that's it. I'm not sure if there's another mission I have to complete yet or what? I haven't got to the gift quests that everyone is talking about

It is called A Woman Who Wants for Nothing, and you initiate it by talking to Sera. It leads to the sex scene.
I've also been bugged out of the Sera romance. I just finished Here Lies the Abyss, and I'm not sure how I get more approval for Sera. I've finished the cookie scene and now have the option of "Special - Rooftop chat,' but everytime I try to pick "I'm interested in you,"
Sera asks to wait after you've been traveling together more. I think only the Empress Celene quest adds additional approval options, and I wanted to try to romance Sera before that.
I don't know if this is causing this, but I'm sitting on the threshold of the Josephine romance. I have to have the chat with Leliana to start the romance with Josephine, I don't know if that's preventing me from starting the Romance with Sera.
Any advice you've got would be awesome.

I got that for a while as well. Then I got more approval form Sera, and that option leads to a conversation where she asks if you want to be "more". The next time you talk to her, you get the "Wants for Nothing" quest.
I don't think Josephine prevents you from proceeding with Sera unless you have already committed to a relationship.

After the final romance related conversation - she has a nightmare about the inquisitor dying. The achievement also unlocks at this time.
I had this after both Here Lies the Abyss and Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.
