I suppose it's who you see as a Villain. I disagree.

Question, what the hell was Felix dying of? The taint?

I was a little confused at this too I was thinking more or less he died from aids and it confused it with the taint?

Samson is also sympathetic if you follow through on Cullen's "destroy the red Templars" quest and bring him in for judgment. Maddox giving his life for Samson's misguided cause. He's a guy that's been burned by the Chantry over and over and figured that the Templars' days were numbered. So he joined Corypheus out of a sense of indignation as well as survival. If the Templars end up being taken out anyway at least do it with a bang.

I still agree that Alexius is the best though. He readily admits that he made a deal with the devil for the sake of his son.

The Blight, they were able to slow it's corruption but they couldn't stop it.

Yes. That's why he was in a crouched ghoul pose in the future, and why Leliana's flesh was being harvested for taint-resistant tissue samples.

Spoiler

two things

One: 151.gif

Two: How does that knowledge come to light? lol

I enjoyed the Alexius villain angle. One of my favourite, yet gut wrenching moments, was going into the future to stop him, seeing how some of your companions changed, and then fixing that mess.

Also finding out that Alexius's son had the taint (Probably another thing my ears didn't pick up) now makes more sense to what he becomes in the future.
