Hello,

So I'm playing my first play through of this amazing game but I have run into a small problem. I'm finding it kinda hard to really tell what is an upgrade what isn't. When I look through Attributes I see Main-hand damage is say 100 but then Attack says adds 50%. Does this mean the 100 damage in Main-hand already factors that in or is it added on top of the 100 making it 150 damage?

If anyone could explain an easy way to see if armor or weapons are an upgrade or help me understand it better please do.

Thank you

I figured out that main hand damage is the weapons base damage... I'm guessing the stats on the weapon help create the DPS. Base Weapon Damage + Attack = your true base damage. I guess that helps a little. If I'm right about this can someone comfirm.?!

I think that is what it means. The DPS aren't actually that important it seems (and IMO shouldn't be the large number on the inventory screen). The actual damage number is what the game uses for the damage calculations of skill and spell damage (potentially making slow weapons with lower DPS better, if they actually have higher damage) and +attack% seems to increase that by the percentage indicated, just as you said it.
