I thought I'd add in my own two cents. Feel free to add more general suggestions.
- Improve tactical view for PC: (No brainer) This is a complaint that has been raised by just about all PC reviewers for this game. It is clear that tactical view was optimized for console and never reassessed.
- Research items: change them from valuables to something else (maybe crafing ingredients so they don't take up space?). My main gripe with this is that, since just about everything which gets sorted into the "Valuables" category is vendor trash, it is easy for a new player not to realise what items are research items and just use the "Sell all option". Even when knowing, if you are in the field and want to sell your stuff you either have to go back to your main hub, drop off your research items and only then sell your items (or sell the items individually to avoid selling research items, or buying the items back, both options being unnecessary busywork). In my first playthrough I was in Skyhold before I figured out why I always got "no research items available" when I tried to drop off research. Maybe I am thick, but I think this kind of mix-up could be avoided.
- War table: find some way to highlight operations which are available. Currently operations get highlighted only when they are new (and have not yet been examined) ore have a repotrt available. This means that, if you ahve looked at a mission, but have yet to initiate it, it looks exactly the same as all other already completed missions (and can also be hard to see if they are in one fo the darker areas of the table). IMO it would be better if available missions were visible at a glance; for example the makers could be made golden rather than black, maybe silver for repeatable missions such as "Hinterlands Resources", whilst maintaining the diamond and ! markers for new and just completed missions.
