I hope you weren't being serious.
Yeah, me too.

It's most likely a combination of how she acts on top of the way she talks.
How she acts refers to what?

the murder knife will be waiting for her maybe we will get an option to finally use it in a future DLC
here's hoping lol
no but seriously some like her some hate her like with any other character both have their opinions
liking her doesn't mean you have personal problems
hating her doesn't mean that you are a misogynist or whatever
The fact that she seemingly invokes so much hate is a clear sign that she is an excellently done character. A badly done character wouldn't be able to get such a reaction.
Personally she's one of my favourites for this very reason, as well as being a delight when you're on good terms with her.

No doubt. I don't say this in relation to Sera, but give me a character that I dislike/hate over one that I find boring. Or worse yet, forgettable.

It kind of depends. Kai Leng is a character lots of people hate, but people hate him for the wrong reasons. But anyway, I agree. I think that Sera is excellently written and is one of my favorites. She's a real pain in the ass, but she's my Inquisitor's pain in the ass.
I don't think I'd ever be able to romance her as an elf, especially after seeing this.

Eh I always got the impression most people hated Shep's IQ dropping from being in his presence than Kai Leng himself.
I hated him because he ate all Anderson's cereal...
I'll never forgive him for that.

wait seriously? First she dumps her over the ruins and then they can't even be friends?
Seriously?
What a waste of space.

ughh soo annoying glad I kicked her out but not before I made her angry
"I'm just people" lol she is so ridiculous can'T take her seriously

Oh no, that's not why I hated him. I hated him because he was some jerk from the comics that everyone was afraid of all of a sudden. As someone that didn't read any of the EU, I was wondering where the hell the Final Fantasy reject with the great voice came from. Not to mention he has one of the most literal cases of Plot Armor I've ever seen. Everyone lost IQ points around that clown.
In other words, he comes off as a a total Villain Sue.
Warning: There is a link to TV tropes in this post. I am not responsible for lost time or productivity that may occur from reading too much TV Tropes.

I will never get over how Thane jumped on his sword.
Thane jumped on his sword.
Wat.
Though ME deception was massive lulz. I miss that thread.
Though yes I averted disaster. I was already on tvtropes earlier XD

Oh my favorite was when he literally held out one hand to stop Shepard's bullets while asking TIM for orders. After the scripted boss fight with him, I got a screenshot of that one. It really ticked me off.

BWAHAHAHA
That boss fight had me loling so hard. I played an infiltrator so it was pretty much *two sniper shots* I NEED COVERRRRR.
So much lulz.

Villains in Mass Effect seem to have that power over Shepard & friends. Still can't believe that Joker flies the Normandy straight into the Collector beam at the start of ME2, "best pilot" my ass.

Hmm, good point. I don't think i remember any boring character in a bioware g.... oh wait, Jacob.

Don't romance her as elf then, use the other races.

OMFG! That's what happens? Damn, I don't know how we got this far in this thread without that video being posted.
And discussed.
In excruciating detail.
About fifteen different times.

Redundancy is what kept the Boeing 747 from falling out of the sky. If it worked for the plane, it works for BSN.

Would that that were all.
But don't worry, without people skipping the whole "reading the thread" thing and just posting based on the last page this thread would have died about twelve hundred posts ago, so it's all good! ![]()

I'm not a big fan of the Dalish, but Is there any particular reason I should reroll a Qunai or Dwarf, or have my Dalish characters abandon her faith just to romance this dumb selfish cow.
The problem is not the Inquisitor or Dalish's beliefs, the problem is Sera need to get over it and be open-minded. She doesn't have to agree with the Inquisitor, Solas, or any Dalish elf who's proud of their own heritage. She can be the faithful Andrastian who believe in the Maker, but she needs to realize that everyone has right to their own beliefs and she lived in the world where various culture, races live together. If she's going to force you to abandon your own faith or she'll dump you, and in case you firmly defend your own right to your beliefs then she's not only dumps you, but decide to end her friendship as well then she's just selfish, terrible person who's waste of companion slot.
Funny, because I find her worse than self righteous, arrogant snobbish Dalish.

nahh she is way too stupid to stop with her nonsense for a minute and actually think
And I agree on the wasted companion slot especially when someone like Scout Harding could have been a companion
instead we got this childish brat where is the logic?
Seriously I think Bioware might have overdone the whole love her or hate her thing they should have been a bit more likable and also show some character development I have never encountered such a companion in Bioware games until Inquisition
