Replace Sera with BioWare and it'd be right on the nose.

When people imply that the fanbase somehow didn't/doesn't think Morrigan was/is raised-by-wolves-batshit-insane so they can pump up Sera, folks notice.

 

I love her.  Her and Iron Bull are the only real standout characters, personality-wise.  I was so thankful to meet her because the others characters were so damn bland...  Of course, My Qunari made her leave after she offed somebody without his permission.

 

Yeah, I'm working toward an IB/Sera/Dorian group at the moment ... I suck at making IB into a tank, though.  Just doing hard atm, might be able to make it work.

I have no idea how DanaDuchy access this or manage to trigger this cutscene to play. I assume it's hidden easter egg that has been cut. LOL, I don't know what is scarier the blonde kid with the Jay Leno's face or being surrounded by children who's always demand but is never satisfied. I feel for the helpless adult (DG).

Give it a try with someone a little IC rougher around the edges; my "Dalish Forevah!" Lavellan didn't go well with her, but I'm trying something else now, and it's working a bit better.

She is a big hypocrite though but in practice a less smpathethic version of Jack from Mass Effect

Well I spent an exchange program in a house in Ireland. The family tended to spend their vacations on Spain and I'm spanish, yet the little kid wouldn't believe that I was spanish, even when I showed him my ID. Instead he said that I was British, and the retort when I started speaking spanish? He complimented me on having learnt spanish so well in school :/

I mean, it was kind of a good thing, but I'm not ashamed of being spanish (much, our politicians and the politics they do are known to cause frustation, indignation, depression and homicidal tendencies amongst others).

I loathe Sera, she is easily the most annoying character I have heard/played/seen. I would rather be trapped on a deserted island with Jar Jar Binks(Star Wars) and Neelix (Voyager). 

I didn't think you could make a more annoying character than those two.


Top Reasons:
1. She Looks like King Joffery(Jack Gleeson) with Boobs. This results in her looking extremely ugly(Note:I think the other girls in the game look fine, only Sera is ugly).

2. Her Derbyshire Accent. Its the British equivalent of the Jersey Accent. So annoying to listen to.

3. She is very immature which is not humorous, much like King Joffery. Varric/Anders/Alistar are humorous, Sera is not.

4. She is flat out stupid, just wait till the party banter goes off.

Her only Saving Grace:
Arrows>Magic

Derbyshire's okay, and has pretty scenery. Though I felt I was taking my life in my hands last time I drove round Derby.

Joffrey is an interesting comparison, considering that Joffrey's immaturity wasn't the reason why people so ferociously disliked him, among either fans or the characters around him. To say that she's immature like Joffrey would be like saying having a cold may ruin your day, like cancer. The irony is that Joffrey is pretty much the embodiment of anything and everything Sera (or just about anyone really) would hate about someone who has vast amounts of power.

I'm on my second playthrough, and this time after Verechial (spelling) I thought I would gently chastise her about putting her 'friends' in danger. Previously I had supported her actions.

 

Bloody hell she literally exploded ! She cannot take advice or constructive criticism and does not seem to care if her 'friends' get hurt at all. Towards the end of that chat I thought she was coming around when she basically told me that she was right and I was wrong. She was so damn close to being kicked out at that point. In fact, the next time she goes off on one again she is gone, I ain't got time for that ****.

 

Also, whatever Bioware use for the skin textures does not help because they look greasy. Now with Cullen it works as he is in lyrium withdrawal, but with Sera her skin just looks terrible. And why did they decide to make her hair out of straw - seen the sign of those strands ?

 

Anyway, that little rant of hers really put me off her. Happy to give her a formal warning about it.

Skin texture is strange for a lot of characters in this game. The only one that seems to be immune is the Inquisitor. I guess the Maker really does have his/her favor.
