If you are taking Sera and accepting her flaws as they are and not trying to rationalize them into somehow being wonderful character traits, then you are not blind, and the post you quoted is not relevant to you.
He did not say he wanted everyone to be perfect, did he? No, that's just a strawman you erected to justify you liking a thoroughly unpleasant character. You are saying that since no one is perfect, it's OK to like someone who is thoroughly grotesque. This, of course, is another logical fallacy known as a false dilemma.
There it is; a prime example of what I was referring to when I spoke of "high and mighty condescending attitude".
She is grotesque to you and perhaps many other people on this thread. However, I don't find her grotesque at all. I find her bluntness and honesty refreshing, amongst a sea of two faced, boring hypocrites who agree with you in dialogue but then go on to "disapprove".
So yeah, Sera doesn't use big fancy intelligent sounding words when she talks, and if she doesn't agree with you she will chew you out, but at least she is honest, and real.
You're entitled to your own opinion, but don't express it as pure fact. It is not set in stone that she is grotesque to everybody therefore it's a "logical fallacy" or "false dilemma".
In fact, most of the people on this forum should have a neon sign stapled to their heads that says "Logical Fallacy". Where is the *LOGIC*, in going on to these forums every day obsessing over a fictional pixel character?
If you want to blame somebody, blame BioWare. They created her. It isn't like she is some real life human being who magically inserted herself into a video game dead set on pissing everybody off who has a stick up their butts.
If there is one thing I love about Sera, it's how she manages to bring both "neo-conservative" types and "SJW" types together, uniting them and exposing them as one in the same, just opposite opinions.
