And how did you get them? Do they ever go away?
It's in my best interests not to explain how I got mine, but you can have them removed, as I currently have 0.

How did U go through creating new accounts ? Don t U need to register a game to be able to post here ? Do U have to wait a bit before creating a new account linked to your same copy of the game ?
I don't know what you're talking about. This is my first and only account.

Really?

Was that email for someone else or did they forget to hit ban?
Really?
Really.
Edit: I only ever had the one point, and it was a lengthy chain of PMs to have it removed, which I feel I should clarify. ![]()

It was for someone else. A rather despicable fellow known as Dr. Tim Whatley. He was a dentist to the stars.
Really.
Does it involve pleading with the mods?
I remember having been searching how to get rid of my warning point stuff under my avatar for quite some time ![]()
Does it involve pleading with the mods?
Not exactly.
I elaborated a bit by editing my post above. I spoke directly with the mod who gave it to me.
It's worth mentioning that it is always possible to communicate with the mods via PM if you have an issue. As far back as Ninja Stan and Raen, the mods will make an effort to explain, and others have been able to have bans shortened or reversed through those conversations.
I'd recommend keeping everything civil and polite, of course! ![]()

Just spotted the edit. Even on the old forums, they always ignored my PMs when I felt I was hard done by. To be fair, most of em were justified.

There were problems when the "BioWare Mod #" accounts were first created, and my requests for explanations of my bans in that era were ignored, as well.
One of the things I would acknowledge has improved about the new site and moderation is the use of warning points. In the past, the most lenient response a mod had available was a 24 hour ban, which made any perceived violation of the rules grounds for banning.
With the new system, they are able to create a body of reports that keeps the moderation team better informed about the community, and doesn't require a ban for every rule violation, which creates a better relationship between themselves and the community.
And let's face it, we sure do a lot of gif spam and off topic shenanigans around here, so it's nice that we can be warned to scale it back when we push it too far, rather than having half the community disappear for a few days to temp bans. ![]()

Oh, I'm not complaining.

The few times I've tried to communicate with the mods they've always completely ignored me too. Which was very irritating.

I had the same experience during the initial months of the addition of the new mod accounts.
I would always recommend politely communicating concerns directly to the mod who communicated with you, initially. If you don't feel your concerns are addressed, or they haven't been answered, you could then e-mail: contact@bioware.com
I've never used that route, myself, but they have made it available on the new TBF site rules for discussing moderation concerns.
Three or four.
I'm shocked. Glad to hear you're anti-establishment. I'll stop spreading rumours about you.
I've had posts removed, but never had any warning points added.

I don't trust people with no WPs. Also, goml re: likes.

LolWarnings. I think we both know I've had a lot more than warnings on the old board. I'd like to think I've matured though from telling people to mate with an auger.

Matured? What's that?
