Since the Destruction DLC I have played well over 30 matches, I have yet to have my game locked out by the key bug. We do take the precaution of killing the animals first though.

The most prominent and frustrating bug I experience with my group are the disconnects and DirectX crashes, which sometimes even prevents that person from rejoining.

I'd contest that:

  • Connection issues [esp host migrations & rubber-banding]
  • Frozen loading screens
  • Joining a game and being unable to move
  • Joining a game and being able to move but unable to attack / use abilities
  • Key not dropping [this occured pre-addon, but it was rarer]
  • Joining a game outside of the map
  • Random game crashes with no warning

Sadly the list goes on, they were just off the top of my head. It did become truly unplayable after the add-on, but it was already bad prior. Also, the add-on was two days ago now. Even if the dev's released a fix today, it would barely be regarded as a 'hot fix' by definition. I'm not concerned with the 'at the moment' so much as there is no "next hotfix"' at the moment, which could well mean they don't intend or have a hot fix planned and that they intend to delay this fix until the next patch.

As there's been very little communication on the issue, I don't hold high hopes considering by rights the listed issues should've been hot-fixed by now anyway. Y'know, a month after release.

I agree, it was already bad before Destruction and most of these issues should've been fixed with the lastest patch. Instead, before fixing them, they add new content that, with all the new bugs associated to it, make the game unplayable. Not a wise move.

I believe they will release a fix, eventually. But I also believe they are not doing a good job with this MP so far. Let's hope that will change in the future weeks.

Amen to that. I just hope they fix it sooner rather than later.

well, I guess "Destruction" means destruction.

Not that the game was much better before, though.

Is Amelia still active here by the way?

I mean, I can understand that it is not fun to represent a "product" that doesn't meet

customers' expectations (to put it diplomatically).

Which is why I respected her for being here anyway.

But it really seems that Bioware has now stopped their activities here (in their own forum)

I noticed something interesting last night in a game where this bug occurred.

The stage was a escort mission and all the mobs were killed yet no key dropped. After a while I went to the character selection screen to vote to kick the host since they didn't seem to realize they needed to quit to change the host so the rest of us could progress and I noticed that the mission objective (at the top left of that screen) said "recover the heirlooms"...

Maybe there is a glitch where the game is assigning the wrong objective to be completed for the stage and when it isn't completed (in this case no heirlooms to collect and an escort mission instead) The game doesn't register that the objective is complete and the door remains locked.

I will wait until it happens again and see if the same thing occurs next time

I saw her post yesterday in the armor and crafting section so yeah. To be fair though, given the amount of hate towards devs here atm, im not sure id want to show my face in their shoes.

Please delete this broken DLC. I don't give a **** about random animals, but I want to have PLAYABLE game.

For the future reference: Don't release incomplete crap

she's still active but the only thing she can do more here is to add gasoline to the fire, people are already pissed off for good reason. For those who don't speak "customer service langage" it means they fucked up the patch, they are aware of the situation, they are working on a solution that will come out eventually (eventually means from now until you die) and they are probably 10 times more pissed than you because Christmas is coming and if it's not fix, it means no holidays for those developpers. So juste give them a few days, give them intelligent feedback if they ask for it and go buy you xmas gift tonight instead of playing.

I'm honestly interested in this. It seems like I see this same post come up every few days, and its always a collection of the same members in the thread. Some of the members who have commented here only post negative comments throughout the board, every day. It seems like a number of you are very unsatisfied with the mode, my natural inclination would be to believe that you would post your feedback and either continue on with another game and stop playing or wait patiently to see things resolved. Its really strange behavior to continue to play and post about a game, daily, that you absolutely dislike. I've been thinking about it and my best guesses are:

A.) Some feel they're not being heard.

B.) Some have noticed that they're getting attention when they're behaving poorly.

I've been told repeatedly that the answer is probably B.) but I want to see if I can get some level headed answers and maybe uncover some good dialogue between us. Hopefully that is the case, otherwise I think moderation of certain users will be necessary to clean up the community and keep it healthy. If the answer is A.) then we're doing our best to let the community know they're heard, and I personally have had a strong presence in the MP boards. If there is something we're missing on that front please let me know. Maybe its neither!

What do you think?

it is believed dreaming. if I were in your place I strongly change my mindset. firstly when we are at fault we apologize. the game bioware SELLS and it's not a free game is not the height of being put on sale in the state of things. as you can see by the multitude of post and I have created itself a post about it the game presents a number of incredible bug that makes the multiplayer unplayable.
the least thing would be to present your big apologize and you wake up quickly so that customers who bought your game to enjoy fully without becoming mad at each bug
it's a shame
know that everyone does not speak English that any community is not represented in your forum and in the same occasion a bunch of people can only suffer rather than to write and create a post on your forum.
you need 1000 people to take into account all these bug? or I invite you STRONGLY TO PLAY AT YOUR OWN GAME PLAYER MUL TI and see by yourself how is it is a delirium

well to you

i take ur post
I take your post as an insult to view this inconvenience return to earth

The question is.... Is there anyone left at bioware to work on the fix since Christmas is upon us?

It would be nice and helpful if they would at least make a pinned post in the forum that they are aware of the issue and looking at it.

With the amount of hate going on in the forums already I doubt they need a pinned topic to tell us they are aware of it. XD

C.) Want to like the game. See potential. Play with friends made while playing ME3's brilliant multiplayer. Frustrated with the game's multitude of bugs and bad ideas.

PS - You might want to work on your bedside manner.

compared to some of our posts on bsn he/she is being polite.

but you have to understand the reason some of us are upset is because we paied a heck loads of money for this game and it has a lot of problems, when we pay for a game Bioware we expect to get one that works, why did these bugs get passed the people responsible for noticing them before launch?

I haven't crashed today! Something was fixed.

Also less MP banter which is nice.

I think either your lucky or I'm unlucky, since nothing you've listed changed for me today. I've crashed and the MP banter still fires off rapidly. Bleh.

Here are the patch notes guys : http://blog.bioware....-patch-2-notes/

I just wanted to say I appreciate the dev involvement, on the basis offered.

Pulling back from the detail, DAI is a great game, I have spent some 300 hours in this world already (with hardly any bugs and none game breaking, on Xbox One).

However, with so many people playing, law of averages says that some people are going to have issues,

possibly more likely on PC given the multiple configurations.

If an individual is having those issues, whether it is down to their own system or not, that really sucks.

To throw around angry accusations about the game being broken and being rude about BioWare is not very responsible

but I understand the emotional reaction and a small number of upset folk can make a forum feel unpleasant.

All I would ask is that BioWare folk keep popping into the forums in a calm way, it is appreciated.

Some people will say totally unreasonable stuff, please don't take it to heart.

Equally, if folk say there is an issue (even if it is down to their system) then they are probably not trolling, even if it is a rare case.

An ongoing MP experience with events and such will only work with some friendly and helpful community support.

Thanks in anticipation of that support.

:D

Finaly had to join to chime in, this bug is sux but just intermittent enough to keep playing. I frigin love this game, waited so anxiously for it, and have played everything from Bioware, easily my favorite games. The multiplayer took me by surprise by how much I enjoyed it, making the combat truly shine especially after one of the worst anticlimactic story's from this studio. I'm constantly blown away by the complexity of this game overall, and have a great deal of patience, for bugs and imperfections that are inevitable for a release this vast. BUT, I have lost soooooo much XP from this bug that it is really starting to burn and I expect a BIG BONUS in my account and for it to be sorted top priority.

Yesterday I was trying to do multiplayer event (part with stuff). It is very easy to do, but that KEY BUG, it took 3 hours to do that. I've lost lots of exp because of that and other bugs like famous DirectX error.

Hi guys long time follower, use to read about Mass Effect 3 multiplayer..

Dragon Age Inquisition multiplayer is great except for all bugs and glitches that are currently occurring... The other night I was disconnected 4 times, the key didn't drop after we killed all the monsters which was annoying and we had to migrate host..

I'm really hoping that Bioware fixes all the bugs and glitches before any more DLC, because in my honest opinion what good is DLC when the game doesn't run smoothly..

Bioware will loose a lot of gamers if this awesome game isn't patched to fix all the bugs and glitches....

OtherAussieGuy, I understand your sentiment, but bioware doesn't deserve it. Let me fix it for you.

Bioware will lose has lost a lot of gamers if because this awesome half-baked game isn't patched to fix all the bugs and glitches.... was given a "Bears and Bugs" DLC that made game-breaking bugs 3-5x more common than before and refuse to revert the DLC or do anything about the newly introduced bug.

What do you think?

I've to say A.

ME3's MP was a blast not only because it was a solid game, but it also had constant support from the team and we knew they were there.
So far I don't see the same level of communication:

If it wasn't for the twitter thread, I wouldn't notice there was an event for last weekend. Even in game there was no signs of the event until I saw a "Kill x guys" while I was checking the challenges. Back in the day, events were announced everywhere, with a context of why we are doing it and even some of them required a group effort to succeed (I remember that once we had a longer evac time for failing an event).

We also had weekly balance changes and hotfixes that were influenced by the community (For better or worse  ). Of course, it was the source of weekly chaos, but it made the forum an active and a nice fun place to interact.

I think almost everyone knows that you are working on expanding the game experience, but sometimes, it helps a lot to see that you are here, around us. Especially in times where there are issues.

In other words, is more relaxing to know that someone is coming to put out the fire, rather than wait wondering if it's going to get better or not.
