Did someone from BW said on twitter that they are aware of the big bugs or was there complete silence?
About a month ago I sent a short PM to a Bioware programmer that pops up in this section sometimes.
He said they were very aware of the bugs. Poor guy, he even said he checks the forum everyday for new threads and bugs/complaints. Hopefully he took off that for the holidays.
I was left with the impression that they were putting their noses to the grindstone after New Year's weekend is over. ( part of my PM was a bit of holiday well wishing and telling him and Amelia and the rest of the team to spend some quality holiday time off)
He also mentioned that the reason they don't (which I believe means they aren't allowed) communicate what they are and aren't aware of and any other news generally regarding the MP is that 90% of the time when they do say something, everybody reads into the statement, comes to crazy conclusions, and then run around like nuts with more gloom and doom predictions. Just look at any post Andy has put up and you can see the shitstorm that erupts every time the poor guy posts.
I'm looking for fixes and hopefully some other tweeks in the next 2-4 weeks. I am pretty sure there is not a DAMP dedicated team yet for bug fixes, I believe the team is shared from the SP campaign. Meaning SP probably gets first and best treatment.
Edit: who even knows what kind of resources the team is working with, they obviously don't have any dedicated quality control people on the team. So many equips reference SP features MP doesn't have, so many abilities don't work, etc.
The next 8 weeks is crucial for BW. They better realize they need a dedicated MP team and give that team enough resources and manpower to do a good job. It would really be a shame to see a MP with such potential die. But obviously this isn't the first time something with superstar potential crashed and burn.
