i have never had this happen to my PS4!!!????
i just picked up iron bull and my PS4 clicked like 3 times and then shut down????
has this happend to any of you??

i have read about audio bugs and some save bugs abd even some CTDs... but NEVER a bug that totally shuts the PS4 down???!!!
i'm afraid to try and turn my PS4 back on... i was going to post in tech but saw it was a totally diff site so i wanted to at least post here once.

Your PS4 is probably fine. Just turn it back on and continue playing.
OMG.... my ps4 will not turn back on.... i cant smell anything like burned out or overheated. i tried to press the PS button on my controller nothing happ[ened....
then i unplugged and repluggled everything. the blue strip light went on for 2 seconds, beeped twice then nothing....
i cant get the disk to eject i cant get the system to do anything now....
i'm ****** sick to my stomach....
it will go on. happens to my ps4 with nba2k15 many times. just try again
btw you really should play DAI on PC
insane, DAI is the end all-be all game i was waiting to play this year, as is every bio game, and of all the times in the past, i always go with PC first never have problems, i take care of my systems, all my games and hardware are mint, i get a game for a console, the PS4, and it dies on me.
i am now without DAI. i cant even believe this.
i had a weird feeling this was going to happen.
and of course i would just play the game on my PC if i had anything better than an nvidia geforce 550 ti.....
really, i would be fine waiting to replace the ps4 if i had a decent PC to play it on, now i'm super bummed. really, just my luck.
cant contact sony until 8am, dont know if i can do a return at gamestop or if it will have to be sony.
BTW sorry, at first i thought it was a DAI bug like a CTD only all the way baby!!! lol.... but after i tried with no luck to turn it back on and researched it looks like it is a sony issue....

just saw this, lol as you will note above, it would be no prob if not for my "video card" 550 ti...
notice the "QUOTES" around the words video card... lol
i guess i will wait till i contact sony to find out the damage time wise.

Before you orally eject, try holding down the power button on the PS4 for 30 seconds and see if that does anything.

Was in middle of game an chat on ps4 coupla weeks ago when my ps4 just shut off, went to turn it back on an it wouldnt come on, raged a wee bit thinking back to my old xbox 360 red eye day lol, had to switch it off at wall then switch on and hold in power button on ps4 then back to normal, before i did that it wouldnt start with controller
1). Unplug from the wall for 30 seconds and plug it back in (sometimes on crash, it doesn't shut down completely internally and needs a hard reset).
2). Press power button for 10 seconds.
3). Check the airvents for dust. If a console overheats and shuts down, you cannot reboot it till it's cooled off.
4). If none of the above work, call Sony and then you orally eject into the phone.

Actually, step 1 is a no-no. This can corrupt the hard drive. Step 2 on the other hand is the proper safe boot method.
there was a ps4 update that fixed this issue. try that
The PS4 is an unstable piece of crap. I would know as it's the only next-gen console I have. There are sometimes the PS4 wont start via the controller so I have to drop down to my knees on my cold hardwood floor and place my finger on the power "touch-thingy" and wait like 30 seconds like an *******. It would turn on and I would get some ridiculous message about my storage. Oh well.
thanks for your support guys. i let it cool overnight going to see if anything happens today. and i also liked the "orally eject" replies, lol....
