The atmosphere and the emotions this trailer delivers are so outstanding that made dragon age origins so successful.

Besides it was a masterpice gameplay wise

Still playing Dragon age origins

Inquisition was good but nothing can match the atmosphere of dragon age origins that remains an unforgetable experience

Thank you bioware for Dragon age origins

But can i have those feelings back from the video below?

The music is masterpice as well and especially when the door opens.

The guys that created the music and the video and the guy that combined the video with the music are truly masterpiece people in real life as well.

I can easily see that.

I'm pretty sure you'er trolling...No way any sane person could call the boring ass gameplay off Dragon Age Origins a masterpiece. You're allowed to like a game without making up how great it was. I swear to god in 10 years these same people are going to be talking about how good Origins was when were are playing virtual reality games where you get to fucken be your character..."boy the environment and immersion of Dragon Age Origins...that was something special boy i tell ya"

Origins is good and all that but Inquisition has one of the best atmospheres out there. So many moments that gave me goosebumps. And still there are DLCs and hopefully an expansion on the way to follow up the story etc.

It was by far the best Dragon age game.  DA:I is about 3/4 as good while DA2 is the embarrassing mess left in the toilet after DA:O ate a cheap curry.  I still play DA:O every so often, and Baldurs Gate, and Kotor, can't say the same of DA2 or any of the ME  games.

Okay feel free to that opinion. Don't say it's the best because of it's combat though. DA:O combat sucked hairy balls. Anyone who can actually look at DA:O combat and get excited is a much better person than me.

I honestly prefer it, yes it was a bit slow, but the animations for weapon use where at least within nodding distance of how things work, and the magic felt..well magic, not like choosing an ammo type.

A bit slow? That is the biggest understatement i've heard in a while. It was like watching grass grow as your character swung his sword once every 5 seconds in what couldn't be related to anything other than a poorly choreographed fight at the renaissance fair. I would take over the top combat like DA:I or DA2 (I mean, we're in a world with magic, dragons, and warriors who can kill dragons...i would expect their swordplay to be unrealistic in comparison to humans who would get buttfucked by a bear regardless of melee weapon.) over DA:O. I loved the story of DA:O more than DA2 and around equally with DA:I, but there was literally no moment in time where i enjoyed the combat.

Me too, but I also liked combat in DA2 (strange no?) and I think that combat in DAI is the worst in my opinion.. Because I don't know if it's trying to be a DAO or DA2 combat, and it fails in both directions..

swinging your sword liek a back yard youtube bottle cutter isn't really 'over the top' it's 'suicidal'.  Oh and people have killed bears with hand weapons before now, barsarks had to to get the skins they wore to battle for instance..yes they where friking hard core why do you ask?

I'm with the OP and I also wanted to keep my warden for this reason.

I would've loved to keep my warden, try to find a cure for the calling in DA 3 while making the Inquisition from the Grey warden.

Just imagine, your warden getting cured and then won't have to die alone in the Deep road going insane.

I would've become prud of my newbie warden to have gotten strong and became a ruler then getting cured.

So much more potention than "Hello, you're the Herald of Andraste please become our leadeeeeeeer!! We've just know each other for 30 mins!"

-.-"

The Inquisitor can't compete with the Warden. Just like DAI can't compete with DAO. DAO is an exceptional game, DAI is a mediocre one. But, alas, some people seem to like to celebrate the mediocre, sure, enjoy it, but don't try to pass it off as great when it is not.

I wouldn't say mediocre. I would say: "Different from what I was expecting them to deliver to me." What's wrong with different? Nothing.

Sad to see how they went with DA after Origins. Was really hoping they'd follow in DA:O footsteps with the sequels to some degree, but they just seem to dumb the games down even more and more.

That's interesting. If I had seen that trailer I might never have played DA:O. They hooked me with the (possible paraphrase) "not every hero's pure" spot on Hulu, I think.

Different is great, but only when it represents progression. DAI is worse than DAO in every way, DAI sure is different but it is also mediocre.

Not in every, but overall DAO is still better, and also it is much older game, if DAO would look like DAI then I would play it even today lol

I'd take the look of DAO if it meant we could get an actual sequel to Origins.

So would I too, but we got what we got, and it's still a good game, plus it looks very good especially on ultra settings ;-p

Remember this when people say they prefer the real RPG simulation mechanics of original RPGs rather than the button spamming of action RPGs. It's not old, it's not outdated, it's not dull and boring - it's just different. It's OK to have games that aren't action games.

I didnt enjoy DAo's combat as a mage as much as I do in DA:I

A sequel to DA:O in terms of story would be a prequel. What you are saying is that you want DA4 to play like origins.
