We know there will be some but it's so refreshing to not be force fed season passes or hints/glimpses of DLC.  By the time they are mentioned we should have some patches to the main game and had enough time to get pretty far through it and that's how it should be.

Props to Bioware where it's due.

Im not a regular customer of EA, so season Passes or hinted DLC, Ive heard for other games but not for DAI. Patches are really due from what I read here on the forums.

For my part, unless there is radical changes to the game. I will wait for the next installment if there is one but wont hold my breath for it.

The only one DLC I would like to have right now it's small one...with storage chest. I would like of course to have story DLC, but first I would prefer patch, and the second..I want really good story not something rushed

I agree. Just looking over the horizon on what Ubisoft are doing with their titles, it's like a complete reversal.

If they announced they were working on DLC before releasing any major patches, people would be out for blood.

Children would be out for blood.

Not true, adults would as well. DLC should be an afterthought right now until they fixed a lot of the major glitches and problems with the game. Concentrate on bringing out and making DLC after the game is fixed.

They already said the Xbone will be getting any DLC FIRST.

Mark my words guys: Any bugs they find in the Xbone version will NOT be fixed in the PC version, even though they know about it, but they will not have the competency to fix it until we complain about it.

Yay work ethics.

I agree.  When you hear "Season Pass" or talks about DLC before the game is even frickin released, it puts a bad taste in my mouth.

I think it's sad we even consider this to be a props giving moment.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if they've got DLC in the works already and simply aren't talking about it yet. Don't really need artists for bug fixing.

Spot on, in this day and age it's becoming the norm for DLC to be mentioned as the game is launched if not before it.  It is sad but still due imho, a lot of other buggy games out there have announced DLC on launch so Bioware could have if they wanted.  I hope they stick to this with future games (Mass Effect and next DA) as well as increasing QA testing   :)

My personal favourite in recent memory is Ubisoft fixing the micro-transactions quickly in Unity when the game it so buggy it makes Bethesda's QA look good.

This is arguably the best Dragon Age game to date, so good luck with that!

This is a really good point, and sort of ironic because I looked for a season pass the moment I finished the game...

I'm glad bioware is so focused on just making the game good.

The best way to sell a season pass or DLC is to offer it when a lot of people have finished or nearly finished a great game and are craving more, just make it as great,

Better than in Origins where there was that guy in camp who was just an ad for the DLC.

Talking to him was literally, "HEY KID WANNA BUY SOME DLC?"

You're talking about a game that charged full retail price and shipped with microtransaction in it's multiplayer.
