While playing through the game, I've encountered far too many issues where the dialogue freezes during a cutscene, forcing me to either hit [square] to skip past the dialogue (making the player miss out on crucial story content), and in some cases, skipping doesn't work at all and the game force-quits. Casual cutscene conversations with Dorian, Stroud, Varric and Cassandra have all presented major performance issues.
I've heard a lot of people having issues with the Cassandra romance scene skipping and bugging out, and the same happens for the casual "I was hoping to steal a moment alone with you" makeout sessions with Dorian. Every time I try to choose that option for the Dorian romance path, the game freezes and kicks me off.
I'm hoping that the new upcoming patch will fix those issues, as they all present major problems for gameplay performance, storyline flow, and player immersion into the game world.
I can't tell you how frustrating it is for the game to freeze up every couple of hours and to make me miss out on important scenes.
