Spell Bugs

Hello,  I'm starting to get into this game like I was origins but there are some really bad bugs:

 

The upgrade to the Barrier spell does't seem to do anything.

 

The spell revive is pretty much useless, I can never get it to cast and if i leave it on autocast then both mages will cast it at once to revive the same downed character.

 

The revive command doesn't work very often, I've seen that you have to hold the button down, you could have told us that.

 

A feature that is really lacking is the ability to control zoom in the tactical view: I like to do all my fights this way and it's terrible when you're in a room with a low roof. I'd like it to be able to see through the roof and there are times when I'd like to be able to zoom in closer but still use the tactic mode commands. I don't see why the view and the command style should be linked at all.

 

I'd also really like some regen over time ability. Most of my team are wondering around with half health all the time because I don't want to spend the potions on the little fights. I don't see why you can't have a regain X health per second out of combat, or regain X potions per second or have some sort of craft potions out of combat option.

 

 

These issues are really hurting my enjoyment of the game.

This game requires you to adapt to its design constraints.

 

1. use tac-cam to gather info about your target

2. For your ranged chars change their TACTICS tree by selecting PREFERRED spells and disable the ineffective ones

3. Set your archer to defend your tank

4. Remember that each char has their own pot slots,, so fill them up at camp points.

5. ensure your tank can generate GUARD. The WARCRY ability is good.

 

Rinse and repeat  1-4 prior to future combat

 

For a change and fun and if you are a mage, have your companions defend you. Then engage in long range bombardment. Your party's intelligence levels increase and they will stick around.
