Sony has only one game that will get me to buy a PS4 and that is God of War, but HALO come first over all other things and since the next God of War won't be out till 2017, 2018, 2019 there is no need to get a PS4 for a long time.

When're you all gonna learn that Capcom really doesn't care about you? They don't even care about money, it seems like. I think they just like dicking around, honestly. Every business decision they've made in the last few years has made literally NO sense in the slightest. Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Mega Man, Street Fighter, Marvel VS Capcom, Dragon's Dogma... 

 

They don't care what you want. They don't even KNOW what they want. It's really only a matter of time before they're dead. Someone else might buy them and continue making the games, but this Capcom? They've got more of a history of screwing over their fans than EA, which everyone here hates with flaming intensity.

And I'd just like to add that yes, PC gaming is superior. I don't even own one, and I realize this. 

 

But seriously, don't be a dick about it. $300 is infinitely more affordable for me than $1000. And don't forget that Nintendo saved the gaming industry with the NES. Gaming might be best on PC, but it only really exists because of consoles. There is no "PC will outlast consoles". They're ALWAYS going to exist. Just like how PCs are ALWAYS going to be five steps ahead. 

 

Might as well get used to it, honestly. Better than having pissing contests on the internet over why your system is better. PlayStation, Xbox, OR PC.

I feel like Xbox doesn't have anything either, honestly. Everything that used to be exclusive is going multiplatform. I'm really only getting MGS and Kingdom Hearts on PS4 because that's where they've always been. 

 

In my brain, I keep forgetting they're even on Xbox now, tbh. 

 

But there is No Man's Sky, and anything from Naughty Dog is either a guaranteed masterpiece, or at the very least a thrilling movie-esque experience. I want an Xbox One because I've got massive Halo nostalgia lately.

Halo was a originally a Mac/PC game already well into development(then as a TPS), until Microsoft bought Bungie just to get Halo as an exclusive to the first Xbox. Pissed a lot of people off. My point was that what Sony did with Street Fighter V is indicative of the industry as a whole, and shows that the console wars bullshit and loyalty to corporations(who only want your money and don't care about you) facilitate this kind of behavior.

The above poster basically said the truth about the game industry sand specifically the "console war" and "AAA" games. They don't care. They only care about money. Money is the game they're playing. They don't care about you. Your experiences. Your issues with said product. They don't care.

They know that the hype train and encouraging PS4. vs. XB1 talk fuels fanboy wars and creates hype and misplaced brand loyalty. 

 

When IN FACT, both XB1 and PS4 are laughably similar. Not only from literally the same CPU and GPU or other technical aspects, but buisness practice and policy as well. BOTH make you pay to play live. BOTH encourage devs pre-order bonuses and day 1 DLC. BOTH are underpowered for 2013, let alone 2014 and beyond. BOTH have no killer app. 

 

 

And yet..... both will sell and have sold like hotcakes because the common peasant has no clue. (and PC gaming hardware is still overpriced too, Dafuq lol)

To be honest, I don't care if all the companies want is money, as long as there are still passionate people in the industry. 

 

If I'm buying a good looking game from a talented group of developers, I'm happy to spend that money. If for nothing else than to support them so they can make more games. And whether you like Bioware anymore or not, you really can't deny that they've been trying pretty hard lately to prove that they care about what their fans think.

I've yet to play Inquisition, and it's obvious they can't win everyone back, but judging from what I've seen of their work and effort they put into the game, they're not a bad company. 

 

But I digress, Capcom still sucks. No wonder Shinji Mikami made Evil Within with someone else.

Heh.After some..quality time with Kinect, I can actually confirm this is very much the case, at least in an event you are after some sort of a multimedia device meant to navigate internet and operate different UIs conviniently. Xbox One(without Kinect) and PS4 are both much worse in this regard. Wii U's Touchpad does great with things like Internet browser, Netflix etc. Meanwhile, Xbox One and PS4 offer same experience and solutions their last  gen counterparts did. Kinect on the other hand  offers knock knock jokes about operating anything beyond  some Molyneuxian bullshit fantasy trailer -  reality.

 

In an event you don't have weird desire to use Netflix and internet off your living room tv and enjoy playing video games instead, you are better off upgrading your PC of course

PCs are going to outlive consoles anyway. That's why the so called "PC master race" looks down on all of you, because you all act like immature children. I feel like forking out the money for a PC and throwing my 360 out the window to escape you all.  

 

TBH you sound just like them now and you almost sound like a fundamentalist religious/atheist person with your comments! Why do the PC mustard species take gaming seriously? You speak of the PC gamer, who proudly wears the title of PC Master Race, as if he's a successful business man who instead of coming back from work after a long exhausting day and just wanting to unwind, he heads into his basement to begin upgrading his rig and downloading mods for Skyrim.

 

 

PC gaming isn't perfect especially when nearly every PC game comes with a form of Digital Rights Management nowadays, you can't play Dragon Age Inquisition without Origin (and it sucks on PC according to most people), many games are developed with console in mind nowadays (meaning they play better on console as Diablo 3 and DA:I were testament to), half of the PC games released can't be modded for one reason or another nowadays (making that benefit go out of the window), DRM (including Steam) means you can't share a game with a friend unless you trust them with your account but only one person can use one account at the same time with Steam, there's no split screen and most PC exclusives come to console in the end anyway.

 

Consoles are with their flaws (as we all know) in that they only play the games of their own system, have a limited life-span before the company will create a new console, can't be upgraded, customization for things like UI and controls are limited if they exist in a game at all, graphics are not as powerful, customization of settings is limited, online play is more limited and of course, console games cannot be modded in the same way as PC games can and of course, consoles have a smaller library of games whilst a PC has a huge range of games to choose from going to 20+ years ago.

 

At the end of the day, gamers like me just laugh at both the "PC Mustard race" and "console peasants" and their superiority complexes whilst we hybrids, who enjoy both the benefits of console and PC gaming, get the best of both worlds.

Who cares? There's no point buying the game at launch anyways since this is SF. There will be like five enhanced versions until 6 comes out.

 

Except when you finally do buy it, you'll be years behind on tech and how the game has developed competitively.
