I don't think it is a spoiler to mention that you enter the Fade at some point during this game; saying you enter the fade in a DA game is like saying you'll fight Dragons or run into someone with awesome facial hair. 

 

Without giving anything away, what I did want to say is that this is probably the first time I have really enjoyed a visit to the Fade in a Dragon Age game; every other time it has felt tedious and not been something I've ever wanted to do again if I could help it.  (Though I suppose the scene in Redcliffe in the first game was decent, so I correct myself a bit, there.)

 

This time around the Fade looks great, feels great and plays well with the fadey bits. (that's really all I can elaborate on it without saying too much)

 

At any rate, just wanted to voice my appreciation.

I think they listened to the fan base by cutting out the huge protracted fade sequences which were mildly entertaining the first time, and hell in every other playthrough.

 

That being said, the way its done is different to the previous games, again I can't go into too many details on the no spoilers section but the way they tackle it in game may explain why its not so convoluted.
