Same here.  Didn't realize Silver solos also count as Bronze solos until way after I got my Lone Wolf.  On the other hand, no regrets there as I enjoyed the Bronze solos.  It's fun watching Cerberus troopers fly when you hit them with a Disciple blast.

Just to be clar, I wasn't recommending doing the challenges only in Bronze, I was simply answering the question of whether it's possible.

 

Generally, playing Gold would be the quickest way to do everything, possibly barring Guardian Points. There just aren't enough Guardians on Gold. There seem to be relatively more on Silver and even Bronze.

Last time round on Cerberus Mastery I focused so maniacally on Guardians that I ended up with 20/21 and needed 70k Centurion points to complete it

I don't think that I've ever had to do anything in particular to finish the Mastery challenges. They just seemed to happen on their own.

Enemy mastery challenges are stupid in general. I always do U/U and have geth mastery completed the most simply because they lack having a single unit that is responsible for 50% of the time taken to complete the challenge (husk, guardian and to a lesser extent, abominations). Troopers are the only enemy that doesn't scale at a similar rate to the other types of unit in the faction, but they arent any worse than anyone else's troopers.

N7 does not mean much, it is the CP that shows your experience with the game. Even if don't grind CP you still accumulate CP the more you play, and the more you play the better you become, just like everything in life.

If you weren't on PS3 you'd have Collector Mastery completed more than anything else playing U/U/G - I'm at:

 

Cerberus Mastery x10 (Guardians only on waves 2 and 9 makes it slow going)

Reaper Mastery x14 (Husks ... though there may have been the odd Husk-Mode game that's helped here)

Geth Mastery x17

Collector Mastery x25! (least number of different enemy types to split the points across)
