Christmas Spirit has taken us
I will embark upon a quest to rescue us from this Christmas Spirit you speak of, immediately.
Trolling and 'omglookatme imdabestest' aside, I'd like to make a serious observation about this 'leaving' after someone 'owns face':
I just started playing again, I used to be an ok players I guess, I did a plat solo once etc, but I never considered myself very good and was always pretty much in awe of just how well some people can play.
There's this thng though: I don't enjoy speedrunning that much. Yes, I'll bring out a laughable TalonGI once in a blue moon, and I'll probably have a shot at topping the board on the average gold PUG, but that's ok, since i'm not very good.
Try to put into perspective the competence of some of the people posting in this thread: if THEY jump in a gold PUG with a talon GI, they ruin the run for all the 'scrubs'. Not because of score, but because there will be nothing for anyone else to do.
Also: AC, because, much score very fast !
Had my games with Faster last night and it went great. We didn't run into N7 Spectre though but it was still a lot of fun playing. Faster is such a nice guy he even let me almost win one of the games.

Watch this completely unrelated video, you will feel much better about being outscored by a very small margin. (Viewer Discretion Advised, very disgusting behavior from Wave 9 onwards)
Yeah Cerberus is pretty disgusting all right.
That is not what I meant, but also true.

Well I sure resemble the comments here. 39K of CP from a year of grinding challenges and I very seldom see more than 3rd. I get frustrated only when I go a whole wave without a shot. A juggy on the wrong end of Rio gets squat. My only observation of high scoring players is that they seldom use any equipment, and they seldom need it, so I will try to keep an eye on them to learn their kits and tactics. I love it when a leader of total beginners bumps a Silver to Gold, I guess thinking I can carry them. Oh dang it, I forgot the topic, well that's what happens at 72!
Most times I get into a match with a high CP or N7 player ( usually excluding BSNrs ) I outshine them. Notably with a decent kit, like the GI Claymore.
99% of them leave as fast as possible after the game, sometimes during.
Is this a "high CP/N7 matters" butthurt or is it just unbearable to play with me for reasons unknown?
I'm a good team player, always do objectives and revive etc but after sooo long I am beginning to wonder. Just thinking out loud as they say...
There do seem to be a lot more of them on PC. High Challenge Points, BotB banner, I join in progress and outscore them, missiles fly on Extraction, then when that still wan't enough they leave ASAP
I think I could actually count the number of times that's happened on XBox on one hand.

my n7 and challenge points can beat up your n7 and challenge points
and superman
and goku.
When I started re-reading this one, I was ashamed of myself, at first, for offering any kind of serious answer. But then:
BioWare, we need a "Like Ammo Clip Mod."
And that made me feel better. I still support that idea.
I have played with OP, by the way, several times. I don't remember most of the details, and it's likely that I've long deleted the related videos, but from what I do remember, I would put him in the same approximate scoring category as myself. I've never used a claymore GI, tho'. The most OP thing I use is a Grenade Gear V Vorcha Sentinel.

That's how he is supposed to be played. ![]()
edit: This thread ruled.
My N7 and Challenge Points shall rule you all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I havent noticed what they were at in a long time. I used to chase both relentlessly , I stopped promoting 1 year ago and the Challenge Points just come naturally now. To me they are both still just an indicator of how experienced a person is at this game or how much they play. Jeremiah, I recently tried the Claymore GI for the first time ( I forgot to respec out of Sniper Build) AND IT STILL was STUPID OP....I got 230k my first try..I Loved it and will use it alot more More Cheese, More Cheese.
I just realized that I've had the same N7 rating for almost twice as long as I had one that was going up through promotions.
I almost want to waste my respec cards, spend all my credits, and deliberately make a whacked-out build, just as an excuse to force myself to promote once.
But nah.
Edit for the above post I made: I just looked myself up
N7: 23,787 World Rank: #60
CP: 169,375 World Rank: #53
Come at me BSN I am so Elite
but not really, this is the 1st time I have even really looked at those numbers in months.
That's how he is supposed to be played.
Now, now. There's a lot to be said for just standing there and using Flamer to its full duration. It has half the calories and it tastes great!

N7 = 2760
CP = 88885
Most of my CP come from weapon challenges or at least that used to be a focus of mine.
