Hi All.

 

I was just trying out this combo today (so many people seem to recommend it), but when after I catch enemies in the abyss and toss a mine on them, the mobs all jump out of the abyss and go after me after being hit.  They don't really fly out like one would expect from an explosion-- there's sort of a graphical leap where suddenly they're out of the abyss area and free to attack.  Not all enemies seem to do this, but I do recall a group of wolves doing so in particuar.  The Abyss spell is on cooldown at that point, so I'm usually in big trouble. 

 

Is this supposed to happen or is there some sort of bug going on? 

Also, I never see Ice mine being touted as a good combo with Abyss.  Is that one not as good as fire?

Fire is just stronger and has a longer primer, so abyssal pull holds them in place long enough.

I heard there is a bug when abyssal pull ends, moving those within to a random place.

Maybe try to place mine first and them use abyssal right on top of it.
