Pushing three weeks since release, ive seen some Bioware posts here and there about them working on it, but nothing for awhile.
Has there been any updates recently or are they keeping quiet?

Seems they are keeping quiet; probably testing out the data to see how to fix the issues before rolling out a fix.
I honestly hope they patch soon, my GTX 970 card doesn't seem all that optimized yet. This also goes to NVIDIA.
You do realize there are just about 2000 bugs other than that barter crap, a lot of which are more important and/or gamebreaking?

Me? No. I haven't really experienced anything outside of the occasional NPC clipping through an asset or the "awkward stare". Nothing game breaking or serious.

Patches? Yeah, sure. I'll, uh, just check with the boys down at the QA department. They got four more playtesters working on the game. They got us working in shifts!
Patches.
In one of the Twitch streams, they mention 3 patches - one in the final testing stages, one being worked on by QA, and a third also being worked on. Across all platforms.

(If you meant other than this informal type announcement, then I haven't heard anything, but I'm avoiding spoilers so I tread the forums gingerly...)
Just give them time. I rather have a good patch than an incomplete patch with new bugs.

Game breaking bugs? Like what?

I rather have a good and stable game than an unfinished one which cannot even run for more than... bah, what's the point. what was the line again BSN always throws at people who are displeased by the quality of DAI? haters gonna hate or something?

If you guys didn't whine so much, you wouldn't be hated so much. But alas, you go out of your way to hate the game, so what did you expect?

Let say i never got Dorian in my second playtrough. I said join up you awesome man, after we came to Skyhold he is nowhere to be found and i cant choose him in party select screen.

oh, not much! a game i could play would be enough.

Only a small fraction of the PC owners are complaining about game breaking bugs. Makes one wonder if they bothered to check the requirements.
Besides, you had 24 hours to ask for refund, you could have asked and buy the game later, or not...
I just want to go on record as saying, I don't care that it is taking a long time. I would much rather have a complete and tested patch than one that breaks more than it fixes. I just don't like when devs dont communicate properly about what is being worked on.
I hope they fix the accent switch bug first. It is the reason why I can not play.

It's ridiculous.

400K+ views in 3 weeks and they have not responded since the 26th. and really never said anything material to begin with.
The game has been gold since October 30th, released since the 18th of November and we don't have a list of things they are addressing in the first patch? Let alone an actual patch?

Maybe they should of thought about that before releasing the game, end of the day only themselves to blame.
I want the banter bug fixed, but I've encountered some quest completion glitches, some cutscene freezing, and some weird dialogue issues (like getting dialogue that sounds like it should be related to some choice I didn't actually make or to some conversation I haven't actually experienced). The game definitely has its fair share of bugs, which isn't really surprising. I remember DA 2 launching with quite a few bugs itself. As long as they do fix them, I'm not too bothered by it. An update would be nice, but it seems they're not really communicating much about it for whatever reason, hopefully, because they're busy working on those patches.
The patch to be released is on QA atm and has been for some time, and the devs are already warking on another patch to fix the not-so important issues that didnt make it for the 1st patch.
Cameron Lee said it himself a few days ago on stream.
Besides the custom Hawke causing your voice to change glitch, I'm also experiencing a glitch where killing all 10 dragons doesn't give me the trophy. But the more annoying one is that I collected all the shards in all the areas but I can't open the final door in Fire Captured. When I try to open it it says I have 5/18 shards despite the journal saying I collected all the shards in all the areas. And no, I did not miss any. Hope the patch fixes this **** because I'm not collecting all those stupid shards again. Oh, and maybe I should mention I'm on PS4.
Also, I'd like to add the always fun "RANDOM PARTY MEMBER DAMAGE" bug. It adds such a joy to exploration when suddenly Bull drops to 20% health and uses a potion for - you know - NO REASON WHATSOEVER.
Good grief.
And the voice bug (holy hell, it's still not fixed)
Audio cuts out all the time
Random hitches
Lack of music only fixed by travelling from war room
Party banter (they say it's fine lolol)
Quests staying in quest log even though they've been completed (I'm looking at you woman in Empress Du Lion!)
I have a sneaking suspicion I missed a few.
