So I was fighting with a dragon in nightmare difficulty. All my other teammates were down since the dragon is lvl 13 and I'm only lvl 12. But I managed to control the battle as my S&S inquisitor is pretty tough. After 20 minutes, just when he was about to slay the dragon, a Druffalo spawned behind him and knocked him down. I don't think I have to describe what happened next. 

 

I mean, am I the only one having this problem? I do notice that the game spawn bears and stalkers during battles too. This is a huge immersion break. Even fighting with terror demons is more fun than this.

Probably a glitch since that's not suppose to happen or you just have really bad luck. Perhaps you went too far out of bounds of the dragon battle to the point where another creature could spawn?

I don't think so. I was standing in the area where the dragon teared down walls.

No, they do spawn in battles.  I had a Druffalo spawn and wander between my mage and his target.  I've also had more enemies spawn right behind my group in the midst of battle.  My squishies got flanked by bandits with warhammers, and it got ugly fast.

Had Red Templars spawn in the middle of a dragon fight. They are not so bad though.

Red Templars do randomly spawn, whether you're in a fight or just traversing.  Fortunately for me they spawned during a dragon fight, allowing my inquisitor to get extra guard off them.

 

I've never had other creatures spawn during battle, but I have had a few instances of creatures spawning pretty much right on top of me immediately after a battle.

Once, a pack of wolves appeared out of thin air right in front of my party. All stacked into a single point.

No, not once, actually. It happens a lot.

Yeah, this sometimes happens. I`ve seen fights starting against one bear and soon every cat and mouse from the map joins in. Bit like a failed pull in MMO, but worse.

So why is it a huge problem?

 

It might make some fights more difficult or easier, but why is that a problem?

Because they are not supposed to. Developers do not let players see mobs spawn or despawn. Developers do not spawn hostile entities directly into aggro radius from player. Because such things happening leave the impression of half-made product, lacking essential polish.

I've haad enemies spawn in with my allies when i make a tactical retreat they were still swinging swords at each other mid air. Not as amusing then as it is now.
