I got my Mass Effect 2 copy at Midnight thanks to EB games.  I am pissed off that ME 2 is manual like the first one.  I bring it home only to find out I can't import my file thanks to a system that should of been built to better support me.  I can list a ton of games where it was not manual. 

Before I get anymore frustrated with it I did what was asked of the website.  I went to config and found the saved folder.  I run Windows Vista 32 bit, AMD Processor.  The saves were put under my documents under express install.  I see the folder however the config refuses to open it.  How do I get the config to open it? Is this even fixable?

I tried copying the save to another folder to see if it would recognize it, desktop everything and nothing is working.  I need help or I guess I have to wait on a patch which is really sucky concidering I stood in line. Thank you if you help.

Manual solution: Go to My Documents/BioWare/Mass Effect/Save, copy the save files that begin with Char_ to My Documents/BioWare/Mass Effect 2/Save/ME1.
