Just install it and don't update it. Then again I have the hard copy so...
The release version is unbalanced to the max however, memory leaks, difficulty spikes, etc. But quite a solid release otherwise. Btw you're in the DAI forum, not the DAO one.

Difficulty is a lot different on the PC especially. Tougher enemies, less gold, can't min/max party.

Never heard of one specifically designed for that. You might have to make it yourself.

No one bothered as far as I know because you could just do a clean install.
But it's been quite awhile give us a shout if you find anything.

If I tell steam to not auto-udate DA:O and do a reinstall, will that work? Downloading is a big deal for me because I'm from a place that lacks Americas first world internet speeds.
