I'm not sure if my game is glitching (it is getting more and more glitchy as I progress), or if I'm missing something. I've got a landmark marker in Drakon's Rise Camp, that looks like it should be on, or near a 3 tier watch tower, but the claim banner is MIA and no where to be found. There is also a locked door marker square on top of a bridge going across the little ice ravine, with again, nothing to be found anywhere.

 

Ordinarily I'd just figure I missed something, but I've scoured the area and found nothing, and since the game is getting absurdly glitchy, I'm wondering if I'm hitting a bug instead of just my inability to find these items. Anybody else ran into this, or am I tardy and they are just below me in a cave or something I'm not finding?

Emprise du Lion is a pain.  I found the way to the Red Templar castle for the Cullen quest earlier today but the fighting was hard on my party and I used all my potions.  i had to head back to a camp to heal and then I spent at least an hour trying to find my way back to the castle and being unable to do it.  All I found was the other side where you can't get in.  Of course I got fed up and did something else in game instead.

 

The game is great but the mapping sucks.  So many places require you to travel a very specific route via mountains, canyons and mines and it really bugs me.  I have no sense of direction so it takes me 3 times longer than it should to get anywhere in those locations

That's not the one that's up on scaffolding at the tower with the chains right?  That one can't be accessed until after you make it your camp.

 

I seem to remember there being one in a locked door under ground somewhere around that area though, that might be the one that you're missing

This is the spot I'm referring to. I'm thinking it's got to be a cave underneath the camp I haven't found yet, but like I said, with all the glitches I'm running into, it does make you wonder.

The marker marks at a wrong spot (a minor bug). It'll disappear once you have claimed the proper landmark. So no worries.

Actually it was what I suspected, and was in a tunnel underneath the camp. Valeska's Watch. Just took me a while to find it. Grrr. Thanks though.

I'm having more problems finding my way around on this map than any of the other's I've done. It seems things aren't where they are supposed to be. My search circle tells me something I need to find is near, but I run all around areas clicking V and no sound to show I'm near.

I'm having more problems finding my way around on this map than any of the other's I've done. It seems things aren't where they are supposed to be. My search circle tells me something I need to find is near, but I run all around areas clicking V and no sound to show I'm near.

Having finished all the quests in that area now, I found that some of them can't be completed until you complete the main story quest (Saharain's Keep or whatever). Once you finish that one and dispense with the Red Templar presence in the area, then a couple towers and other locations that were blocked off with red lyrium deposits, aren't any longer and are now accessible. That might be the issue, but I concur, that map is a maze!

This is a hard one! From Drakon's Rise Camp go NE about a hundred yards/meters, then SE the same to an old campsite under a ledge where you'll find some charred human remains. One has the key to Valeska's Watch, the entrance being nearby. There are several interesting 'finds' inside, including the one you were looking for. Also some challenging mobs!

This was already solved two months ago. Plus, Valeska's Watch is one of the most used farming locations due to multible tier three chests.
