Mage throne. Without a doubt.

I've just recently done some remodelling on my Travelyan's Skyhold.  I decided to step away from the overt Chantry influence, as my character emphasized less and less of that aspect after Here Lies the Abyss.  Deciding to assert her Free Marches heritage while keeping some of the allied Andrastan and Orlesian imagery, I was very happy with how the new Skyhold ended up looking, with the accessorized Orlesian style throne as the centerpiece.  It brought me back in some ways to Dragon Age II, and I half-expect the poignant cello music from the Hawke Estate to play when I enter.  I love how it all blends in and makes a statement!

 

Skyhold Options Used:

• Banner: Inquisition
• Bed: Free Marches II (Love this bed!)
• Drapery: Free Marches (Was really surprised by how awesome these drapes were!)
• Heraldry: Inquisition
• Decor: Free Marches (So much Kirkwall For The Win!!!)
• Throne: Orlesian w/ Accessories
• Windows: Serrault Stained Glass (My favorite of the stained glass!)

I've decided my favorite is the Legacy Kirkwall (or whatever) one that came in a patch.

I use the Dragon Maw throne, I missed the chance to get the mage throne. I wish there was a tevinter themed throne.

My Inquisitor lets her followers believe she's chosen by the Maker though she doesn't believe it matters herself. Regardless of that though, I enjoy the fully upgraded Andrastian throne.

There's something about being surrounded with golden fire...

Orlesian Bed and Serrault Glassworks windows because I like them

I didn't go with anything fancy.

Ferelden decor , because you get some Codex with it...I think those ferelden statues were supposed to be in Skyhold or something.

The drapes and windows are Dalish (my main is Dalish)

The throne is the simple Inquisition throne.

The heraldy , banners are the one with the Inquisition symbol , I tried Dalish , it was prettier but storywise it made no sense to me to use anything else.

And I didn't change the bed.

Dragon Maw always be my favourite. I wish the Andrastian throne had more boobs, as a heathen Vashoth I'd like to fondle Andraste more often than a priestess of the Chantry.

I like the Andraste one, I think it is. It looks like flames.

 

And the Kirkwall Legacy one.

I actually hate the Kirkwall Legacy throne.  It's too big and blocks the stained glass

... I just like the Chasind one. Although, my Chasind one does not have the top part show up? I don;t like the top part anyway. It showed up once, and I did not like it. I like the bottom part of the Chasind throne. Clean, simply, strong with a couple skulls.

 

In general decor I like the Ferelden style.

I really like the Legacy Kirkwall Throne.

I really dislike the Kirkwall throne, it's big and clunky and idk... it just looks ugly to me. I am using the owl throne (I believe you get that one after having DA:O but I might be mistaken), but after seeing a screen shot of that Asari throne I am considering switching over.

Depends on the character I'm playing. Intimidating Tal-Vashoth - Kirkwall. Delusional prophet - Andrastian. Reasonable noble - Inquisition.

The Andrastian Throne is great if you are going the route of a faithful Herald of Andraste (and romancing Cassandra to boot) although it does have some clipping issues. My second favorite throne would perhaps be the Fereldan Throne what with all the leg room it has.
